Asian Carp Invade The Wabash River

This video uploaded to YouTube by Brendan Kearns illustrates just how invasive a species of fish known as Asian carp can be. As the videotape illustrates, they can also pose a danger to boaters when the large fish leap as high as 10 feet out of the water.

And the SCOTUS decided not long ago to leave the gates open to Lake Michigan, favoring commerce over protecting the ecosystem of the Great Lakes. Kinda scary what the future may hold for native species.

Last summer a person was killed when the boat they were on passed through an area with these fish, they lept up and one struck the person in the chest.

I don't recall where this occurred, I just remember reading it.

Sounds like a job for the ol' 12 gauge... PULL!. Thin 'em out a bit.
