Is This Pierre Pullins?

A reader of this blog called my attention to this photo I took during the Democratic special election slating caucus in January. The reader tells me it is Pierre Pullins, the man who was shot at the Starbucks at Fall Creek & College last night and who also happens to be a candidate in the 7th district congressional race. There is certainly a similarity to the man interviewed as Pierre Pullins in this evening's television news broadcasts. And look, he's holding a cup of Starbucks. Or is it April Fools?

In other 7th district news, Democratic hopeful Woody Myers is hosting a "Blues in Broad Ripple" concert and rally on Friday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. at MugShots. Gov. Davis and the Blues Ambassadors will perform.

While it sucks he had to get shot, he might have helped solve the case. The bullet that struck him came from the shell casing they found in the area. It takes fingers to load bullets into magazines. Hopefully the cops can get a good print off the casing, maybe even some DNA.

Yea, I want somebody as my congressman who runs and leaves other men and women victims just standing there.

There are marks around the eyebrows and chin that seem to be in both photos.

If you actually look down low in the photo, it says the sign is by Pierre Pullins. He was distributing fliers at the slating caucus which had all kinds of damning and salacious information about Rep. Carolene Mays and her uncle, businessman Bill Mays.

Carolene Mays is an EXCELLENT CANDIDATE FOR CONGRESS!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MAYS IS LIKED BY VOTERS from all major voting groups polled. As a black woman, you expect Mays to have strong support in both blacks and women, and she does have STRONG SUPPORT in both groups.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Carolene Mays also has STRONGER SUPPORT among white voters than the most well known white candidate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CONGREGATIONS & PASTORS ARE SUPPORTING Carolene Mays from all sides of the color spectrum. PASTORS ARE TAKING A STAND to ENDORSE MAYS, including PASTOR JEFFREY JOHNSON from EASTERN STAR CHURCH.
