Michael Sam's Boyfriend Comes From Crime Family Tied To Illegal Sports Gambling
Amidst all the hoopla over Michael Sam becoming the first openly gay football player to be drafted by the NFL is news that the boyfriend he proudly kissed on live TV following news of his 7th round draft by the St. Louis Rams belongs to a family with notorious ties to organized crime. The 23-year old Vito Cammisano is the grandson of William "Willie the Rat" Cammisano, an infamous Kansas City organized crime leader. His grandfather, who passed away in 1995, served time in the 1980s for extortion and contempt of Congress. He had a long rap sheet for a variety of crimes, including theft, bootlegging and accusations of committing murder. His son, William, took over the reins of the crime syndicate after his father died but was arrested in 2010 for running a $3.5 million illegal sports betting operation. Vito's father, Jerry, served 14 months in prison for his role in the illegal sports betting operation and ordered to pay a $200,000 fine. Vito was a member of the University of Missouri's swim team before he graduated last year. He came out to his fellow swim team members in 2011. Cammisano now works as a promotions intern for Cumulus Broadcasting, which operates a large chain of radio stations around the country.

What's the point in all this? Kind of a cheap shot don't ya think?
Ever wonder why the NFL is working so hard to keep New Jersey from getting sports betting?
What would happen to the line if all the East Coast money went to Atlantic City?
What would happen to opportunities to middle if the AC line wipes out the middle room of the Vegas line?
A player isn't gong to leave a 1/2 point on the table at Vegas if AC will give it to him.
What would happen if the AC line disagreed with the Vegas line by a whole point? If players see two lines and one disagrees by a whole point, will players think they were getting pulled into sucker Vegas bets, all these years? If so, who was on the other side of the sucker bets?
Not saying anything improper ever happened, but to see the NFL working so hard to keep the sports books out of AC doesn't look right.
assuming you'll supply background checks on hook-ups of the rest of the draft
Oh, please, the media has been obsessed with the girlfriend of AJ McCarron. Tim Tebow couldn't look at another woman without a bunch of idle gossip in the media about whether he was still a virgin. Sam chose to make his boyfriend a matter of public discussion by putting him out there in front of the cameras at his big NFL draft announcement and lip-locking with him for the world to see.
