Yet Another Township Trustee In Trouble
Cleveland Township Trustee Ronald King (R) in Whitley County conducts the township trustee's business out of his home. Indiana State Police have charged King with three counts of battery and official misconduct after three women who visited his home seeking financial assistance from the township claim he inappropriately touched them. When contacted by the Ft. Wayne Journal-Gazette for comment on his arrest, King replied, "I never fondled any of them. That's all I can say." The Journal-Gazette reports that King was first elected in 1998 when he defeated his Democratic opponent by 90 votes, but he has since been re-elected without opposition. King has no plans to resign from his office.

yet another reason we must ELIMINATE Township government!
They are unnecessary, a waste of tax money and a haven of corruption and nepotism.
