News organizations are in agreement that Mitt Romney has chosen U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, a 42-year old Janesville, Wisconsin native, who seems to have everything going for him. He's smart, fit, handsome and has a lovely wife and three small children. As Chairman of the House Budget Committee, he's become an expert on economic and fiscal matters. Business associates from his days running Bain Capital say that one of the keys to Mitt Romney's success was his ability to attract great talent to his venture capital firm. It looks like he's found his guy in Paul Ryan. The Drudge Report has a link to this video of Ryan taking apart the problems with Obamacare in a very thoughtful, articulate and constructive manner that clearly demonstrates that he has a grasp of the issue at hand and can go toe-to-toe with the best of them. Romney will make his choice official at an announcement in Norfolk, Virginia this morning in a shipyard where the USS Wisconsin is docked.
