Pence: "Best Prepared Person To Ever Assume The Duties"

I almost spit up my soft drink earlier today when I read on Howey Politics that Gov. Mike Pence described his new lieutenant governor as the "best prepared person to ever assume the duties" of the office. I suppose if you don't include Joe Kernan, Frank O'Bannon, John Mutz or Bob Orr, to name just a few recent occupants of the light governor's office, there's a sliver of truth in Gov. Pence's statement.

I figured that Gov. Pence had a 1% chance of dying in office before completing his term as governor before he forced Sue Ellspermann to resign to make room for Eric Holcomb. Now that the scheming, naval intelligence officer is one heartbeat away from the highest state office, I put Pence's chances of surviving as governor at about 50%. When you think about it, how many waterboardings can a normal man of Pence's age survive before his heart finally gives out?

I see where the Indiana Democratic Party put out a press release today following Holcomb's confirmation by the Republican-controlled legislature, which conducted zero vetting of Holcomb before slapping him on the back and giving him the thumbs up. The press release described Holcomb as "a party hack" who "abandoned many Hoosier workers" when he opposed the bailout of the auto industry when he was Indiana State Republican Party Chairman. The Democrats in the legislature must not have received the state party chairman's memo. The Senate voted 50-0 to confirm Holcomb's appointment, while House members gave him a 91-3 vote of approval.

People could be forgiven for thinking that lemming like behavior occurred only in Norway? As for duh Democrats, if they fail to pursue the Todd Young matter there will be a long pregnant pause before any serious person ever listens to anything they conjure up. ZODY? is he still around? After their fleebagging expedition to corrupt Illinois their brand was so heavily damaged that only true believers of very limited intellect would vote for them. It was so pitiful that the Republicans drew districts to quarantine them into small enclaves where they could do no damage or infect the body politic with their limitless stupidities.
Here they now are with a chance and an issue that resonates (even among Republicans who are coming to hate their own state establishment) and they blow it. At least, they appear to be taking a pass perhaps with the forlorn hope that if they don't stir their own crap the smell of it might not be so noticeable. I doubt if Mr. Stutzman will bail them out as his going to the courts would be self serving and give him a black eye. So, with Mr. Pence tripping over his smallest appendage what do we need democrats to do? Scratch a little, see if you can find a scrotum, then see if there is anything contained in it?

Pence is officially brain dead! For those of you who don't know much of Eric Holcomb Pences New LG. Eric is basically a former State GOP Chairman who is mostly remembered for being a loud mouth pain in the rear! He basically does what his master Godfather Mitch Daniels tells him! Let's all work to defeat these two parasites come November!

Gary,

The article on Howeys site made me laugh so much I had to medicate myself! It says Holcomb brings a critical on the ground element to Pences reelection bid. What on the ground help does Eric Holcomb bring? His so called ground game and fundraising prowess did him exactly Jack and $Hi:! when he was running for the Senate!

From that picture, somebody needs at least one dental implant.

Gary, this news report convinces me it is critical I change my current intentionally "unregistered" voter status. I most every time voted "R" in the past but this is one time I will definitely vote who any Democrat running for Governor of The Hoosier State again our proved brain-dead fake conservative Mike Pence. A vote for anyone other than Mike Pence is a vote against the dreadful possibility the special interest-focused Eric Holcomb could ever sit in the Governor's chair.

I have to believe the wooden, know-nothing Governor's BFF Jeff Cardwell counseled him on the selection of the buffoonish Holcomb and probably on the drivel of undeserved and impossible to swallow praise about Eric Holcomb.

The "Pence Must Go!" group did not win me over to this position as much as did Mr. Mike Pence with his words and his actions. MIKE PENCE MUST GO, AND HOLCOMB WITH HIM!

Until we rid ourselves of the parasitic 'Demopublican Party' we will continue to get more of the same anti-Hoosier voter crap from the Indiana State Legislature and the State GOP in general. Establishment Hoosier Republicans are indistinguishable from Hoosier liberal Democrats. Until we rid ourselves of slavish creepy State Legislature insiders like the megalomaniac Brian Bosma and his wimpy go-along sidekick Murray Clark Hoosiers everywhere will be run over with these awful decisions.

And how that Hoosier liberal Democrat Party? Indiana Democrats used to be against monopolies (think corrupt Ballard's best friend billionaire Bollore and Blue Indy) and used to be against union busting now gleefully and happily vote for Eric Holcomb's coronation to his potential future warming of the governor's chair.

This is what happens when you have Republican super majorities. Indiana has become an uber Republican State. Republicans control it all. And so we have the State that they desire. It is chilling. To know that when Republicans get everything they want, turns out its Indiana. Now if they also had a U.S. Supreme Court majority and the Presidency they would get what they really want for a nation. And it looks a lot like Iran. A theocracy where religion is simply everything. Congratulations Indiana. You are well on your way. Actually, I don't know why pence fights immigration of Arabs. He plainly admires their theocratic ways. Praise white Jesus.

And look what happens when liberal Democrats run cities for years, as well, A 9:55!!!

Liberal Democrap Rahm Emanuel's Chicago or the City of Detroit to mention only two... decades long under the thumb of Democrats... both are bankrupt oe nearly insolvent, one with a city with a water contamination that has been politically attributed. There are more Democrat controlled cities at or near bankruptcy but I note two glaring examples most are easily familiar with.
