Treacy Alleging GOP Voter Fraud

Taking a break from the rain down here in South Beach, I picked up this e-mail alert from the Marion Co. Democrats. In one last parting shot before he gives up the chairmanship of the Marion Co. Democratic Party, Ed Treacy has called a press conference this afternoon to demand the appointment of a special prosecutor "to investigate at least 61 alleged felony violations involving Republican-appointed Election Day inspectors." The release says, "It appears that five of those violations occurred in House District 97 and another five in Warren Township." The press release notes both the House District 97 race and Warren Township trustee’s race are currently the focus of recounts. Speaking of election violations, whatever became of those Democratic election workers who were caught red-handed on videotape rewarding voters with sack lunches after they voted?

Here goes Treacy, cryin like a little girl again. The election is OVER, let's move on with the real business of the county. Pushing foward a police merger that won't save any money, builiding a stadium for millionaires to play a sport in, allowing CCC members to assault law enforcement officers, oh and don't forget about ol' Kenneth "I'm da fucking Coroner" Ackles.......

AI had better sic the election police on me too! At my polling place we always bring loads of food and snacks for the long 5:30am to 7pm day. People are munching constantly - we actually share this food with friends and relatives who come to vote - a cookie here and an apple there and all of a sudden there is massive voter chicanery and fraud?

As I recall, those free lunches given to voters were a few leftover boxed meals obtained for election day volunteers and precinct workers at the Childrens Museum in the 5th Ward. In many states, there are "I VOTED" reward programs such as free hamburgers, etc to encourage civic participation. Indiana's laws prohibit such gratuities to voters...

I saw Mark (TONY) Duncan inside two polls. At both Duncan escorted the voters to the sign up sheet and to the booth with his arm around the voters the whole time. Duncan pointed to the ballot and said "do the right thing". I saw this numerous times. It happened at 34th and Forest Manor (church) and at Forest Manor JH. After confronting Duncan, he said that he was in charge of the ward and could do as he pleased. And slammed a door in my face.

... and of course Indyernie reported this immediately to the responsible Republican poll inspector for immediate action ? Or is this some allegation surfacing weeks afterward ?

Hell wilson, he couldn't report it with a broken nose. Get 'em Ed.

How do these things get so blown ut of proportion, regarding "give-aways" to voters?

I witnessed part of it on Election Day. A group of students, none looking to be over five or six, had participated in a nearby school's Mon. Nov. 6 program about voting. To show their thanks to voters for participating in the process, they agreed to take box lunches or other treats to voters at the Children's Museum and I believe one other location.

It was an innnocent gesture. They and their teachers had no earthly idea it might be illegal. It's a freaking bologna sandwich, an apple and some chips.

Lock em all up, I suppose?

As for Tony Duncan's nonsense, it's nothing new there, either. If you saw something, you should've reported it to the inspector, or, if you got nho satisfaction, to Doris Ann. She was probably aching to get something on Tony.

Ed's complaint is different, and it surfaces late because people are just now coming forward to report it. Election Day workers scatter the next day to their various lives; sometimes they don't compare notes for days or weeks.

Ed's a total ass, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
His charges ought ot be checked immediately. If true, our prosecutor will have to break a sweat for a change. If untrue, well, it's just more Ed.

Who gets hurt by checking it out?

According to Indiana Week in Review this evening, the problem with all those felonious Republican Inspectors is that they were not registered voters in Marion County - that's a Class D Felony ! Did Doris Ann screwup again and appoint a whole bunch of folk without checking the registration status or did those Republican Inspectors all sign affidavits stating they were indeed registered voters in Marion County but were not?

Right Wilson, like I committed before, their felons. Put 'em in jail and all the conspirators. Thats D.S.

It's amazing how the Democrats can point fingers over election day acitivities, when they have religiously violated elections laws every election. When they are accused of voter fraud, it is called "sour grapes" or sour loser". How about voting people who don't live in the precincts to run up the vote count. How about signing the poll books for deceased voters. How about acts of intimidation at the polls when you don't support their hand picked candidates. How about using junkies to do their dirty work and rewarding them with more drugs. Ask you know who, she has done all of it to win and was sanctioned and protected from prosecution. I believe they call her their queen!

Walking in and out of polling places, telling people how to vote is a common practice. Tony Duncan doesn't accept the fact that his actions are felonies on election day. But since he has a badge and gun, he thinks he is above the law as a ward chairman. Ward chairmen have no special rights on election day. His actions are not innocent, but they are encouraged. Win any
way you can, play innocent and ignorant of the law later. Ed Treacy needs to go back to Monroe County and wear his sheet.

The "anonymous" at 10:19 is the ever-namechanging Jocelyn, repeating her discredited charges behind a cloak of anonymity. Republican and Democratic Prosecutors have listened patiently to her accusations for years and then found nothing to her ramblings. She is now so discredited she now must hide her identity and repeat her junk incessantly ... she's a pitiful wreck.

Wilson I saw what I said. Report it?... not officially, but I guess its not too late. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. That's what Grandma always said.
I've been nose to nose with Duncan before, nothing there but a lot of hot air.
I will be making the phone calls Monday. Thanks for making me see the light Wilson, I'll make sure that everyone knows whom to give the credit.

Wilson you can go straight to hell with all of your yakking! You are just as guilty as the rest of that bunch of thieves. Complaints have been filed against Ed Treacy and other known Democrats walking in to polling sites and disrupting the place. Attacking inspectiors and raising all kinds of havoc. You don't know everything that goes on, so stop trying be "misses know it all!"

Didn't someone accuse you of ghost employment a class D felony, after the fact? You never seem to answer questions regarding your conduct with the Ghetto Mafia.

I'm not her!

Advance;
He loves to call my name.

Wrong! Wilson you idiot! You have discredited yourself, and yet you continue to attack everyone who does not agree with your views.

One more time, (1983) Prosecutor
Stephen Goldsmith did in fact send warning letters to then State Senator Julia Carson, Tony Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. James Banks for using her address to vote from in Ward 3, Precinct 2. Duncan served as her judge, Mr. Banks was her sheriff, and Mrs. Banks was her clerk on Election Day. Yes they signed the poll book and voted in the precinct. Grand jury investigators located their legal residences, and a warning was given them. If they continued to vote from her address, they would each be charged with a Class D Felony.

(1992)The Marion County Election Board did hold a hearing on the matter. It was a violation of election law when Carson had illegal Pac collecting money in the Center Township Trustee's office from employees; they were forced to contribute on payday to it. I do believe you were employed there at the time. During the hearing they claimed ignorance of the law. You were no where in the picture back then so shut up!

It is clear you along with members of the Ghetto Mafia do not have respect for the law and rules. You have no respect for yourself, reason why you don't respect other people. Your mouth is like a garbage can, any and everything goes in it!
I do believe that you are getting paid to use my name on these blogs, attack me on a continuous basis whether the comments are mine or not. If and when I am able to confirm such, I will deal with it accordingly. I don't know you personally and I don't care to know you, you are trash!

Response Anonymous 7:10 am

Wrong, he will never got rid of Wilson attacking other people. Wilson must be getting paid to keep her name out front. He seems to be all over these blogs. Wilson is too cheap to get his own blog evidently.

Isn't it peculiar that at 4:21am "anonymous" vehemently protests that she is NOT Jocelyn but then at 5:11am Jocelyn herself posts a lengthy screed? Two similar hatemongers up and writing at that time of the morning (or late night) - coincidence? It would be interesting for AI to compare IP addresses from these two comments - I'm positive both came from the same address.

Jen at TDW has banned Jocelyn for such tricks as sockpuppetry as well as continued libelous statements.

AI-

Back to original story, re: Inspectors. This is a really serious problem. The biggest is that inspectors from outside of Marion County are not familiar with the ED procedures or the election day officials they work with. Equally important is that these individuals tend to get pulled in at the last minute when everyone realizes there is a shortage. Result? Little or no training and usually no practice with the machines (remember how many machines didn't get turned on to begin with? Why? Poor training, ED officials didn't know how to turn them on).

One solution to this is to redo the precincts and drop the number of polling sites from 917 to in the 600's. And for all the selective memory folks- Bart Peterson did try this and was blocked by partisan R's. AND Doris Ann suggested the same thing later and same thing happened to her suggestion (partisan D's). People need to get serious and cut out the games with the reprecincting (on both sides).

Wilson46201 said...

Actually, as I recall, Clerk Sadler just threw out the general idea of cutting down the number of precincts but never took any affirmative steps to make it happen - the way she screws up we would have ended up with 900 more precincts!

Anonymous said...

Wilson,

Granted, I don't know what actually happened after DS made her proposal, but, considering she was one of the main obstructionists (among many) when the Mayor made his original proposal, somebody could have picked up on it and pushed for reprecincting while she was on the record for it. Possibly, there were time/legal issues for doing it for this past election and that is why nobody moved.

Wilson are you obsessed with me? you are mentally disturb. I have tried very hard to ignore you, but you keep slandering my family name. I don't really know you and I don't care to know you. So get lost in the muck and the mire. That is where you belong.

I think Wilson is secretly wanting to "switch sides" and has the hots for Jocelyn

“Jen at TDW has banned Jocelyn for such tricks as sockpuppetry as well as continued libelous statements.”

Wilson it’s a good thing Gary is fair and open-minded. Anyone else would have banned you for your tricks and continued libelous statements.
And Jen banning anyone for those reasons is hypocritical. It hasn't been that long since she reported innuendo as fact, unproved and disputed by those involved.
