Marshall Becomes First Small School To Win Wabash Valley Classic
My home town basketball team came through big tonight. The Marshall Lions thrashed the Terre Haute North Patriots 64-48 to become the first small town school to win the Pizza Hut Wabash Valley Classic tournament. My nephews, Lucas and Logan Eitel, put on an incredible show. Check out the video highlights of the game here for some great basketball. The Eitel twins were both named to the All-Tourney Team. I can only ask why IU, Purdue, et al. haven't had their eyes on these two standouts. Top students academically from a solid, small town background who are disciplined in the whole concept of team work. They would make a great addition to any Division I basketball team in the NCAA.

Well, IU sure could use the talent.
"Thrashed" a 5-4 (now 5-5) team. You're a spinmeister! lol
Still, congratulations to Marshall on the tournament win and for their future successes.
