More Trouble In Straubville?

Word on the street is that the spokesperson for the Department of Public Safety, Gene Rodriguez, has resigned her job. Rodriguez left her job last year as a WISH-TV reporter to join the Department under Public Safety Director Frank Straub's leadership. In April, Deputy IMPD Chief Clifford Myers announced his departure from IMPD only three months after being promoted to his leadership position to take a job in security for Roche Diagnostics. Are others planning an exit soon?

UPDATE: Chad Knecht no longer acting as Chief Ciesielski's Chief of Staff? That's the word.

UPDATE II: The point of Ballard choosing between keeping Straub or seeing others leave has apparently been reached.

Probably. My guess is most of the smart people in the Ballard administration have updated their resumes and are looking for jobs. There will be no second term.

I don't think Ballard has a chance of re-election with Straub on the public payroll.

I hope Gene was merely undercover for an exposé she's doing for WISH TV.

That's funny - I was under the impression that Ms Gene Rodriguez had left TV8 to go to work for the Indianapolis Animal Care & Control. When did she get into Public Safety?

She identified her title as PR manager and special projects coordinator for the Dept. of Public Safety on Linkedin.

Animal Care & Control was part of the Public Safety Division. I suppose it still is.
