Sodrel Gets More Help From Bush Family

President Bush came to town earlier this year to help raise big money for Rep. Mike Sodrel's campaign in the 9th District. Later, First Lady Laura Bush visited Starlight and raised another $200,000 for Sodrel. And now we have former First Lady Barbara Bush visiting Sellersburg on September 12 to help raise even more money for his campaign. Both Vice President Cheney and his wife, Lynne Cheney, have held fundraisers for Sodrel as well.

There's still about 60 days before the election. That leaves plenty of time for former President George H.W. Bush and Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to stump for Sodrel. Is anyone else getting the impression that national Republicans think the 9th District race is a critical race this year?

GOod ole' Granny Bush...the same one who toured the Astrodome a year ago, full of Katrina refugees, and remarked that they were all better off.

Patricians so rarely get to see how the rest of us live.

"George, honey, I'm gonna throw on some pearls and go help this trucking guy. He seems nice enough."

Jeb Bush in Indiana for someone? Are you serious?

What a joke. I haven't seen this speculated, or written, anywhere but here.
