Meet AJ Revey

A couple of weeks ago, AI observed a photo mixup in the Star's "Talk of the Town" column showing a photo of Secretary of State Todd Rokita (R) instead of a photo of Sen. Brent Waltz (R-Greenwood), who was celebrating a birthday. At INTake's "Party Crasher" site, the photo shown above was taken by Kai Balakushna at the Life After Dark Cystic Fibrosis Foundation benefit and identifies the persons in the photo as:

AJ Revey, 26, and Connie Outega, 22, both from Indy.

If AI is not mistaken, the young man striking a pose in the photo with the lovely lady is actually Joseph Adamje "AJ" Feeney-Ruiz, communications director for Secretary of State Todd Rokita. You can't really fault INTake on this one. AJ's name is a little bit too long, although it does fit onto his business card in its entirety. I'm guessing that's the name AJ furnished the photographer.

Why is this even worthy of being discussed on this blog?

Anon 1:10, I will try to answer that question as best as I can. Firstly, it my blog so I get to decide what I wish to discuss. Secondly, I think AJ is a very nice guy who does his job as a communications director for Rokita well--this post humors and flatters him at the same time--I think. Thirdly, people love to look at photos of other people they find interesting. On this last point, I have objective proof. According to the site meter for this site, this particular post has attracted more hits in the past 12 hours than any other post on this site. At least for this point in time on this particular blog, AJ is more popular than the Pope. That should tell you something about our human nature.

Is that like John Lennon saying the Beatles were more popular than Jesus?
