Plainfield And Danville Schools Closed Today Due To Threats
Earlier this week, threats were made against schools in the country's two largest cities, Los Angeles and New York. LA officials made a decision to close their schools based on a threat they later determined was a hoax. New York officials analyzed the threat made to its schools and decided the threat wasn't credible enough to warrant closing the schools. Officials in two area schools today, Plainfield and Danville, decided to close the schools in both communities on the last day before the holiday break based on social media threats. According to The Indianapolis Star, two students have been arrested by Danville police in connection with threats made against its schools. Plainfield Police have been working through the night to address the threat made against its schools. Are school officials over-reacting, or did they make the correct decision?
