HRC-Commissioned Poll Shows Pence Favorable Rating Reaching New Lows Following RFRA

The orchestrated effort to discredit Gov. Mike Pence by mischaracterizing Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act ("RFRA") as an anti-gay law and laying the blame for its passage entirely at Pence's doorstep has taken a big toll on his approval rating according to a new poll commissioned by the Human Rights Campaign, a left-leaning gay rights organization based in Washington. The poll conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Roser puts Pence's approval rating at 38%, well below the 62% approval rating another poll taken earlier this year showed he stood. Fifty-three percent of those surveyed had an unfavorable opinion of Pence for signing the RFRA legislation into law. In a head-to-head match-up against Democrat John Gregg, Pence's 2012 opponent, the race was a statistical 47%-47% tie. In the 2012 general election, Pence defeated Gregg by a 49%-46% margin, one of the closest gubernatorial elections in recent history. It should be pointed out the poll was loaded with questions that cast the RFRA law in the most negative light before eliciting responses to the nearly 500 people surveyed.

Another day, another rigged poll Gannett and the drive-by media will latch onto. They need a bogeyman (boogeyman? boogieman?) and they found one.

That's called a "push poll."

According to the Huffington Post, "The state of Indiana has hired a global public relations firm to help rebuild its image in the wake of national criticism that state politicians were hostile to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community."

Every Christian that supports this Governor and takes the Indianapolis Star should cancel their subscription immediately...I did and I feel much better. This law was never going to be used to discriminate against anyone, we just let a bunch of liberal gay activist attack our Governor and our State and the Indy Star helped them!

The putsch by the left of center liberal Democrat hack automotons was to be expected but Mike Pence proved he is cut from cheap cloth when he made the ultimate error being fearful and apologetic about the legally passed RFRA rather than the strong, confident "leader" he pretends to be. After Mikey's sad performance of apologia and walk back, the real haters and bigots smelled blood and went after the quisling Indiana Governor.

Mike Pence has no one but himself to blame for his plummeting political ratings.
