GOP Political Committees Agree To Repay Fair Finance Trustee $60,000

Three Marion County GOP campaign committees have reached an agreement with the Fair Finance bankruptcy trustee to repay approximately $60,000 for the benefit of the bankrupt company's creditors, representing campaign contributions the committee received from Ponzi scheme operator Tim Durham and companies he controlled. The amount includes $32,000 from Lawrence Mayor Paul Ricketts' campaign committee, $23,750 from the Greater Indianapolis Republican Finance Committee and $4,250 from the Marion Co. Republican Party. The trustee is allowing the campaign committees to repay the sums in four equal installments.

That's fine.

Too bad they negated any potential good will by having to be dragged into it, kicking and screaming like little kids.
