State Student Assistance Chief Busted For Drunk Driving

The woman Gov. Mitch Daniels put in charge of the State Student Assistance Commission, Claudia Braman, has been busted for drunk driving in Johnson County. The blood alcohol level reported by police is off the charts--0.32, which is four times the legal limit of .08. WRTV reports that Johnson County police stopped Braman because she was texting while driving and her vehicle swerved nearly hitting a mailbox. Braman worked for the Princeton Review and Franklin College prior to joining the Daniels administration in 2008.
