Have American Jews Awakened To The Real Barack Obama?

Anyone who has done an in-depth analysis of Barack Obama's family background and his political associations prior to becoming president could not have helped but come to the conclusion that the man is virulently anti-Israel, if not an anti-Semite. Nonetheless, American Jews favored Obama overwhelmingly in the 2008 presidential race. It now looks like Jewish Americans may be having second thoughts about Obama. Recent polls show his support among Jewish voters has dropped precipitously with only about 42% now saying they would vote to re-elect him. Liberal Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz is among that growing crowd. He shared his concerns with the American Thinker's Richard Baehr as the 2008 Obama supporter announced in another unlikely move his support for a Republican candidate for Congress in the Chicago area, Joel Pollack, who is a former law student of Dershowitz. Baehr writes:

Dershowitz was a supporter of Barack Obama in 2008, but he made clear in his remarks that Obama's policies with regard to Israel, and to the projection of American power abroad, were worrying him. He attacked the President's attachment to international organizations that are virulently anti-Israel, and often anti-Semitic. He cautioned that there was no substitute in the West for American leadership, and argued that America should stand with Israel, as it has for decades.

Dershowitz's biggest concern about Obama centered on Iran's nuclear program, and his fear that the US would stand aside, and allow Iran to become a nuclear power. He argued that a containment strategy designed to deter Iran after it became a nuclear power, would not work -- that a regime such as Iran's was fundamentally different from those the United States confronted in the Cold War, opponents who behaved rationally, and wanted to avoid a nuclear war.

Dershowitz said the Iran issue was the single most important issue for which Obama will be judged. If Iran succeeded in becoming a nuclear power, then Obama would be a colossal failure, regardless of any other achievements. Dershowitz hinted that in the future, he would be more open to supporting Republicans, particularly in races, where the Democratic nominees were so far out in left field that they were unable to understand or appreciate any of the strategic realities he had discussed.
This past week also came news of a shocking claim by Egypt's foreign minister that Obama assured him in a recent one-on-one meeting that he is a Muslim.  "According to journalist Avi Lipkin, [Ahmed Aboul] Gheit appeared on Nile TV's "Round Table Show" in January, on which he said that 'he had had a one-on-one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda,'" writes Pamela Geller at the American Thinker. Gheit claimed Obama told him he would show the Muslim world what he would do to Israel once he dealt with more pressing domestic issues like health care reform. This shocking claim has gone completely unreported in America's mainstream media. Throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama and his campaign supporters attacked anyone who suggested he was a Muslim as a bigot and assured people he was Christian. The church Obama attended in Chicago for many years led by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, however, is not like most Christian churches. Wright promoted black theology over basic Christian theology and preached very anti-American views in his sermons. Wright is also a close friend of the Rev. Louis Farrakhan, the anti-Semitic leader of the Nation of Islam, who lives in Obama's southside neighborhood.

Supporters of Israel have been particularly alarmed by Obama's implicit support of the lynch mob-like attack on Israel following its efforts to protect the security of its country when a Gaza aide flotilla approached its shores and its soldiers defended themselves from attackers swinging knives and firing guns at them in the aide boat. Anti-Israeli supporters of the Palestinians used the provocation by those claiming to offer peaceful assistance to Palestinians in Gaza to turn public opinion against Israel. Obama backs a U.N. investigation of the Israeli's actions. "Barack Hussein Obama is now playing the biggest role in the mob psychology of the Middle East, writes James Lewis. "Why? Because he is the authority figure who has given the signal that it's okay to attack Israel. That is why Islamist Turkey, Lebanon, and Iran just announced that they are sending new flotillas to challenge Israel's small coastal navy."

I've said it many times and I will say it again. Barack Hussein Obama is the greatest impostor in American political history. The American voters who put this man in office have no idea who he really is or the people behind his meteoric rise to power. Any biographer looking for insight into who the man is runs into roadblock after roadblock. His autobiographies have been shown to be full of fiction with the second one a likely candidate for being ghost-written by his terrorist pal, Bill Ayers. He has barred access to any of his school records from kindergarten straight through Harvard Law School. It seems doubtful that he registered for the Selective Service System when he was 18. Did he attend schools in the U.S. as an Indonesian citizen or a U.S. citizen? We know Indonesian school records under his adopted name, Barry Soetoro, showed him to be an Indonesian citizen prior to those records being slammed shut from public access. He has reportedly used a social security number issued to a person residing in the state of Connecticut. And now a former Hawaii election's official claims it was common knowledge among people working for the government in Hawaii that no record exists proving Obama's birth in that state. If someone would have told me two years ago that someone of such great mystery could become president, I would have told them they were crazy.

First, the former official spoke about a week ago. He said that “everyone in Hawaii knew.” But, in more than a week, not one person has confirmed. Not ONE. There have been lies and forgeries in the past. Moreover, what he said was simply heresay. He did not say that he had seen a document. He just said that “everybody knew,” meaning that somebody told him. Well, how did that person know? The election officials were not allowed to have access to the Department of Health’s birth records. And, to repeat, NO ONE in that department or any other department in Hawaii or any former official has confirmed this statement. Not one.

In contrast, Obama's official birth certificate from Hawaii was confirmed twice by the officials in Hawaii and once by the governor of Hawaii. And there is a witness who recalls being told of his birth and writing home about it (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2170432/posts). And Obama's Kenyan grandmother never said that he was born in kenya. She said repeatedly that he was born in Hawaii, and in another interview she said that the first that the family in Kenya heard of the birth was in a letter from Hawaii.

Second, his school records. NO other president has shown their records either. The records are not “barred.” They are simply private. Some presidents have voluntarily released their grade point averages. Others did not. None released their high school records or kindergarten records.

Third: Indonesian citizen. He was never an Indonesian citizen as the Embassy of Indonesia in Washington will tell you if you call. The US State Department has also said that Obama was never an Indonesian citizen. Sure, his parents CLAIMED that he was an Indonesian citizen in an application to a school. Does that mean that he really was an Indonesian citizen? Answer with another question: Do parents ever lie to get their children into the right schools? In any case, that was an unsigned application. It doesn’t prove anything, especially when both Indonesia and the State Department say he was never an Indonesian citizen.

Fourth: Barry Soetoro. He used that name, for a time when he was in Indoesia, but he never legally changed his name. I used an Asian name when I lived in Asia too.

Re social security numbers and draft. ALL from birther sites, not confirmed by any reputable organization.

Obama’s election was confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the US Congress. Since then, not one member of the 100 in the Senate and 435 in the House has called for an investigation of Obama’s place of birth, or for that matter his school records, draft registration, alleged Indonesian citizenship, or social security numbers. Glen Beck does not believe birthers. Neither does Ann Coulter or Bill O’Reilly or the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal, which said:

“Obama has already provided a legal birth certificate demonstrating that he was born in Hawaii. No one has produced any serious evidence to the contrary. Absent such evidence, it is unreasonable to deny that Obama has met the burden of proof. We know that he was born in Honolulu as surely as we know that Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Ark., or George W. Bush in New Haven, Conn.”

It has been pointed out by numerous legal observers that Hawaii's law permitted the parents to register a birth without an attending physician's attestation that the child was born in a particular hospital at a specific time to a specific birth mother. The fact that the state may have issued a certificate of live birth is not proof of his birth at any particular place; it's just that--a certificate of birth. Obama once claimed to have the original birth certificate in one of his autobiographies but when efforts were made to see it, we're told it got thrown out or lost. The newspaper announcement is proof of nothing other than the child being born on a particular date; it said nothing about the time and place he was born and would be rejected as evidence in any court of law. Step-father Soetoro adopted the child abandoned by his deadbeat Kenyan father. That's why his name was changed.

TellerIP said...

First, the alleged adoption. There is not a shred of proof that he was adopted. Adoption in Indonesia requires court documents, and there are none. If Obama HAD been adopted, the blood children of his stepfather would call him "brother," but they never have. They have never called him anything other than "step-brother."

The Wall Street Journal had this to say about the adoption allegation:

"What are we to conclude about someone who refuses to accept an official state birth certificate as proof of birth but expects us to accept utterly preposterous theories with no documentary evidence whatever?"

Turning now to the birth certificate. As you say, the parents could have lied and said that Obama was born in Hawaii, but ONLY if there were no physician present. But the governor of Hawaii, and the witness (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2170432/posts), and Obama all say that he was born in Kapiolani Hospital, meaning that there was a doctor present. Obama's sister also said that he was born in Kapiolani Hospital, but she was misquoted (or actually the news service quoted someone other than her) at one time to say that it was Queens Hospital. If it had been Queens Hospital, it would still have been a hospital, and a doctor would have been present.

Moreover, consider how unlikely it would be for Obama's parents to lie and say that Obama was born in Hawaii if they had just brought him from Kenya to Hawaii on a plane or a boat and all the other passengers could see them with the new born infant. If Obamas' father had been caught lying to officials, he could face a criminal charge which would have led to his deportation and loss of his scholarship.

Thus, the original birth certificate in the file clearly says on it 'born in Honolulu, Hawaii," which is what the clerk copied on the form for the Certification, and which is what the two officials who confirmed saw in the file as well.

You said: "The fact that the state may have issued a certificate of live birth is not proof of his birth at any particular place; it's just that--a certificate of birth. "

Answer: It is the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and it is accepted as proof of birth in the USA by the US State Department. It works, like all other short-form birth certificates, by a clerk looking into a file, seeing the facts on a document in the file, and then copying them onto a birth certificate form.

You said: ". Obama once claimed to have the original birth certificate in one of his autobiographies but when efforts were made to see it, we're told it got thrown out or lost. '

Answer: Indeed he did. His family had the original birth certificate, which was used to get Obama's first US passport, the one that he used to travel on to Indonesia with his mother in 1966.

Sometime after that, he or his family lost it. That happens a lot. Many people lose their original birth certificates. I did. So, like many other people when he lost his original and needed another he asked his state for a copy. In 2007 Obama asked his state for a copy, and Hawaii sent him the short-form certification, which is what it has been sending to everyone since 2001.

Re: The newspaper announcement. I never cited it as evidence. It is however, evidence that there could not be any form of delayed or amended birth certificate in the file because these all required a delay of a month. The evidence is (1) the document itself; (2) the confirmations of the officials; (3) The witness and governor saying that he was born in Kapolani; (4) His Kenyan grandmother saying repeatedly that he was born in Hawaii; (5) Obama himself saying in 1995 in his book, long before he ever thought that he would run for Senate much less President, that his mother did not have a passport in 1961.

Really? Do you expect the Indonesian government, the world's largest Muslim nation, to release any information that is harmful to Obama? A government known for its human rights abuses and persecution of Christians would rather hold that information closely to make sure little Barry does as he is ordered by his Muslim masters to do. So much for the war on terrorism. They hijacked our government and denialist like TellerP, a paid blog commenter for the Obama propaganda machine rushes in to cloudy up the waters. Even many of the Obama die-hards from 2008 are on to his scam and want nothing to do with him any more. It's quite entertaining watching Obama pretend to be tough on BP when he took more money from the international conglomerate than any other American politician and was relaxing rules on their offshore drilling operations when its rig blew up in the Gulf. And then the One has the audacity to compare that oil rig explosion to 9/11. Give me a fucking break. The guy is the biggest fraud in the history of American politics.

Advance Indiana said...

I've cited a GAO study in the past that shows rampant birth certificate fraud throughout the country because of inadequacies with the current laws and regulations. It is a piece of cake to obtain a phony birth certificate in this country because of poorly-managed vital records offices at the state and local level. It is not unusual for Asians living in Hawaii to give birth to their children abroad and then later obtain a birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. That doesn't prove that the child was born in Hawaii; it simply means the parents took the time to register the child's birth.

Israel is a racist apartheid state, and after China, has committed more acts of espionage against us than has any other country. It has a nuclear arsenal, that it has threatened to unleash on all of us, and most of the world consider it a dangerous terrorist state. Just google the words, by deception we shall make war.

To write that Barack Obama is not a friend of Israel is laughable. Why do you think that Rahm Israel Emanuel is his chief of staff, and why was Rahm in Israel, meeting with its Jewish government officials right before the special assassination squad attacked the flotilla in international waters, flying flags of other NATO countries, and then kidnapped those sweet souls, terrorizing, beating and robbing them. HUH??? Why is Obama still making sure that stinky country gets millons of our tax dollars each and every day? Alan Dershowitz is a lying evil scalawag, and what a liberal, ha ha.

Iran is of no danger
to the USA, (my sister, a retired fairly conservative dentist and her husband, a PhD scientist and lecturer at IU Medical School, just returned from a vacation trip there} or to Israel for that matter, and even it goes nuclear, Ahmadinejad knows that Israel would annihilate much of his country, what with all the missiles it has pointing at them right now, from their ships also, right now. Mossad and CIA already have terrorists and spies in Iran.

AI, I hope you discuss this posted report of yours with Congressman Ron Paul, and get his response, because you obviously do not respect my opinion on foreign policy. In the meantime, I recommend James Petras's book, THE POWER OF ISRAEL IN THE UNITED STATES, If we attack Iran, I expect WWIII to follow, and we all know that China has nuclear capacities that boggle the mind, and I am even told that with one bomb, it can destroy half of the USA.

"911 Missing Links" is a video, you can watch on line, that may give people with open minds some perspective, if they do not have a dog in this fight, automatically on side of Israel.

Re Obama, I do not think that he is a religious, or even a spiritual man, and there is a chance that many scandals concerning him will hit the lamestream/mainstream news, to the point that he will resign in disgrace, although I doubt it. I think that he was adopted by his indonesian step-father, which makes him Indonesian and NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN.

Thank you for your consideration. We are certainly polar opposites when it comes to the Middle East, and I am sure the fact that my best friend in high school, being Sylvia Rashid, Catholic like me, and her mother being Lavonne Maloof Rashid who was the executive secretary of ALSAC, while Danny Thomas was its president, gives me a special perspective and love for Lebanon. Do you have ties to Israel or its government, AI, please??

P.S. These unarmed flotillas were not even near Israel's shore were about sixty-five miles from Gaza. and the IDF assassins jumped down from helicopters in the dead of night, shooting machine guns at one of the boats, with a Turkey flag. O'Keefe, American war veteran, to protect his brothers at sea, did take a gun from one of the Israelis, take the bullets out and hand it back to him, so he writes. There was even a former ambassador on board, who gives witness. These Zionist Jews even threw some of the passengers they wounded, overboard. The films they released were doctored, and they destroyed the passengers cameras and films, although, luckily, a camera on board caught some of the brutal action!

The UN has in the past, condemned Israel's blockade of Gaza, and other countries, have all the right in the world to try to blockade it, and to protect their countries ships, since Israel has already notified them, that Israel plans to attack even fellow NATO countries boats, even though not near its shores. It is pitiful that USA considers Israel an ally.

Lastly before zionism became the ruling philosophy, in the country formerly called Palestine, Muslims, Christians, and Jews were living and working together, in peace. Still today 30% of the beleagured
Gazans are Christians, in dire need with their fellow Gazans, of assistance from the internation community, because they sure as hell are not getting it from zionist Israelis.

I look forward to the day, when there is just one state, no longer called Israel, but the Republic of Palestine, where people are not forced to carry identification tags, with one saying Jews, and the other, Arabs, which is the requirement now of the Jewish government of Israel, so-called. Now, many of the Jews there, with impunity, spit on the Catholic priests and other religious.

Re: "a paid blog commenter for the Obama propaganda machine."

I assume you are not getting paid. Well, neither am I.

The facts would be the same regardless of whether you were paid or I were paid or both of us were paid. And the facts are that Obama has overwhelming proof that he was born in Hawaii in the official document, confirmed by the two heads of the departments of health and vital records and the governor, and the witness who recalls being told of the birth and writing home about it, and the Kenyan grandmother who repeatedly said that Obama was born in Hawaii and Obama saying in 1995 (long before the place of his birth mattered) that his mother did not have a passport in 1961. (He said that she and he applied for their passports in 1966 when they were getting ready to go to Indonesia.)

Don't confuse your dislike for the man with the issue of where he was born. US-born politicians are capable of doing exactly the same thing.

It is perfectly fine to discuss such issues, and on them I may agree with you in some cases. But these issues do not affect Obama's place of birth or his alleged Indonesian citizenship.

Some birthers I suppose, feel that it is perfectly fine to continue to post untruths about Obama's place of birth or Indonesian citizenship because they hate him so much. But it is immoral. Once they recognize that Obama could not have been born in Kenya, they should stop.

That is right. Asians often feel better having US documents, and they can, now (they couldn't in 1961), get a Hawaii birth certificate even if the child was not born in Hawaii. BUT the Hawaii document would not say "born in Hawaii" on it. Obama's does.

Marycatherine, I was taught that Jesus was my lord savior as a Christian. I'm told he was never married, but I think Mary Magdaline was probably as close as you come to a wife and may have given birth to a child of his. Jesus was also a Jew. He spread a message of love and peace during his short life. Muhammad, on the other hand, like Obama, was a bastard child. He had 13 wives, including a 6-year old wife who he procreated with when she was only 9. He spent a great deal of his life fighting and conquering other non-Muslims in the Arabic world. I know people of the Islamic faith carry out dastardly deeds against Christians and Jews every day because of who we are in the name of Allah and Muhammad. I've not seen a similar quest among people of my faith or among Judaism in my lifetime. Biblical prophecy foretold the return of Jews to Israel. I'm not much of a religous scholar, but I'm pretty certain which side I want to be on come judgment day.

Advance Indiana said...

You ignore the point, TellerIP, that parents could claim a child was born in Hawaii that wasn't actually born there and get a birth certificate from the state, even though no doctor attested to the child's birth. We know that his mother was in the state of Washington with him shortly after his birth. A friend had to teach her how to change his diaper. Regardless of his place of birth, Obama was never eligible to run for president because he's not a natural born citizen. His natural father's Kenyan citizenship made it impossible for him to attain this status, one which is only constitutionally required of persons seeking to become president of the United States. I've read John Jay's reasoning behind this provision and know what it means. It is only in contemporary American history that this constitutional provision has been interpreted to mean you only had to be born on American soil. This would allow a Mexican woman to cross the border illegally, give birth to a child in the U.S. who could later grow up to be president. That is clearly contrary to the intent of this provision. I know you don't like the natural born citizenship requirement, but don't pretend it means something that it does not.

You commented: “You ignore the point, TellerIP, that parents could claim a child was born in Hawaii that wasn't actually born there and get a birth certificate from the state, even though no doctor attested to the child's birth. “

Ask yourself whether in ANY state if there was no doctor or other witness present the law forbids the parents from stating that the child was born in the state and the state must accept their statement. I am informed that this is normal and that every state has such a provision, just in case the only ones present at the birth are the parents, or for that matter only the mother. This is allowed because it has to be allowed.

It is POSSIBLE for two witnesses (the parents) to lie anywhere, and as a result some birth certificates may be inaccurate. (For that matter witnesses lie in other things too).

But (1) though it is possible in any state for witnesses to lie, it does not prove that Obama’s parents DID lie. There is no proof that they did lie.

You do not take up my point, which was that the birth certificate being based on a claim by the parents applies ONLY where there was no doctor. Yet we know from the governor of Hawaii, and the witness, and the Obama’s that Obama was born in a hospital, Kapiolani, and hence there WAS a doctor present.

And, as I also said, although it was possible for the parents to lie, it would be highly risky for them to have done so. If the child really had been born in Kenya, because they would be lying about something that other passengers on the airline or boat coming back from Kenya would have known not to be true. Moreover, we have the statement of Obama’s Kenyan grandmother and the witness that Obama was born in Hawaii, and Obama’s own comment (made in 1995 when Obama could hardly imagine the chance of running for president ) that his mother did not have a passport in 1961.

Re Washington: This neither proves nor disproves birth in the USA.

Re Montreal. I am a Natural Born US Citizen, but even if I were Canadian, or you were Canadian, it would not change the facts.

Also, Obama claims in his book that he remembered his mother getting welfare benefits while living in Hawaii. Yet, she somehow managed to send him to the most expensive, elite private school in Hawaii. He also wrote in his book that his mother had a tendency to tell him things that were untrue. I suspect one of the things she lied to him about was his birth. In anger, maybe he destroyed that original birth certificate. He held a lot of anger towards her. Near her end while she lay dying in a hospital of cervical cancer, he refused to visit her. That's also about the time he released his book with a title that praised a father who never had any part of his life while showing little respect for her, the person who made sure he had the best education opportunities whereever he lived. Her friends were very upset about the book but not her. She understood that's just the way Barry was. My superficial observations:

1)Israel and Palestine have been countries, settlements, locales of varying historical occupation, roughly East of the Med, South of Syria, and West of the River Jordan & Lake Galilee for thousands of years. I suggest there be two countries be carved-out and they get along or fight to the death. One party lacking a country in that area given the preponderance of history is not a solution. No religious mandate for either- but look at the collective history that justifys the geographical existence of each.

2)I'm not a "birther", but am a "recorder". I see zero reason for ANY President that can send our children to war to not share all his birth, educational, political and health records. Period.

I am glad that you accept that Obama's parents lied on the application that said that Obama was an Indonesian citizen. The evidence that they lied is the Indonesian Embassy saying that he was never a citizen of Indonesia.

I've maintained that is doesn't matter whether he was born in Hawaii. His father's Kenyan citizenship makes him ineligible to be president of the U.S. Despite all of the lawsuits filed against his eligiblity, none of those suits were decided on the merits of that constitutional argument and for good reason. And I'm not buying anything the Indonesian embassy claims. That government has every incentive to cover up the true facts and blackmail Obama. Further, the Russians and the U.K. know the truth about his foreign citizenship, and maybe the Israeli Mossad. Putin laughs in Obama's face much the same way Kruschev did to Kennedy.

Answer. You are wrong. He was born in Hawaii, and it matters because the fact that he was born in the USA is the reason that he is a Natural Born Citizen.

You said: "His father's Kenyan citizenship makes him ineligible to be president of the U.S.

Answer. You are wrong. EVERY US citizen who was born in the USA is a Natural Born Citizen. That is the original meaning of Natural Born, which comes from the common law and not from Vattel, and at the time of the writing of the Constitution meant "born in the country with the exception of the children of foreign diplomats." That is the way that Adams and Hamilton use the phrase "Natural Born," and they never use it to mean that a person requires two citizen parents to be Natural Born.

You said: "Despite all of the lawsuits filed against his eligiblity, none of those suits were decided on the merits of that constitutional argument.

You are wrong. This one did:

http://www.in.gov/judiciary/opinions/pdf/11120903.ebb.pdf

This ruling by the Indiana court of appeals says clearly that Obama is a Natural Born Citizen and that the citizenship of his father is not relevant. The case was appealed to the Supreme Court of Indiana, which did not accept the appeal, meaning that the ruling stands.

In any case, the reason that the US Congress confirmed Obama's election UNANIMOUSLY is that not one member of the 100 Senators and 435 members of the House believed your definition of Natural Born Citizen. All 535 believe that birth in the USA is sufficient to make a Natural Born Citizen.

Some examples:

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), said:

“Every child born in the United States is a natural-born United States citizen except for the children of diplomats.” (December 11, 2008 letter to constituent)

Senator Orrin G. Hatch (R-UT), said:

“What is a natural born citizen? Clearly, someone born within the United States or one of its territories is a natural born citizen.” (Senate Judiciary Committee hearing hearing on OCTOBER 5, 2004)

Glad to hear, however, that you do not believe the loony idea that Obama was born in Kenya. Or the equally crazy one that he lost his US citizenship during his stay in Indonesia.

That'a state court decision that has been highly criticized, TellerIP. The Indiana Court of Appeals did not have that issue before it because the suit had been dismissed on jurisdictional grounds. The judge who wrote the opinion went ahead and gave her personal opinion on the meaning of a federal constitutional provision, as well as facts that had never been established, including where a president back in the 1800s had been born. The decision is a joke and is not authoritative for any future federal court decision.

I know you don't like the natural born citizenship requirement, but don't pretend it means something that it does not.

Well put. You're rationale is yours. The founders' was theirs, as Teller points out. Who's the original constructionist here??

I know what I believe the term means, Paul, as I've discussed with you many times. You can't simply give birth to a kid on U.S. soil regardless of the parents' citizenship status and call him or her an NBC in my opinion. We didn't get an interpretation of the 2nd Amendment from our Supreme Court until a couple of years ago and that was a 5-4 decision. The NBC issue has never been decided by the Supreme Court.
