RIP Glenn Frey

America lost a music legend today. Glenn Frey, a guitarist, song writer and founding member of the Eagles, my favorite rock band of all time, died today at the age of 67. According to TMZ, Frey had been battling intestinal problems following surgery last November. A combination of pneumonia, ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis contributed to his untimely death in New York City today.

No one here gets out alive, that's for sure. RIP.

I suspect Glenn was doctored to death. Not too long ago, he was quite the bodybuilder and workout nut. He has a small part in Jerry Maguire where he looks pretty buff.

Maurice Gibb was malpracticed to death. It happens. Be careful.

That was 20 years ago! It's also quite possible that in his late 60s, he got sick and died from a variety of ailments that the doctors tried their best to remedy. Good grief.

New Kid in town with the Eagles will stay with me always since I moved my senior year in high school and graduated in 1976. Party Town (was a great song but a horrible album) comes to mind as I cruised down to Florida on spring break. RIP Glenn you made some incredible music with the Eagles and as a solo act.
