Pence Rents Home In McCordsville
The gubernatorial campaign of U.S. Rep. Mike Pence sent out a press release this afternoon to announce that his family had rented a home in McCordsville "for personal and professional convenience." The statement indicated that Pence will also continue to maintain his home in Columbus, Indiana. His Democratic opponent, John Gregg, had earlier questioned whether Pence lives in Indiana or Washington after the residency of several political candidates have become a major issue in Indiana politics. Pence has a home in suburban Virginia where he and his family have principally resided while he has been representing Indiana's Fifth District in Congress, but the family also continued to maintain their residence in Columbus at which Pence is registered to vote and to which he returns when he is not in Washington.
