Palin Resignation A Big Mistake

If Gov. Sara Palin's decision to resign her office later this month is to allow more time to campaign for president in 2012, I think she is making a big mistake. Palin has been the unfair subject of dozens of ethics complaints filed by partisan Democrats as a result of her vice presidential campaign last year, which has caused her to incur hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills. Leaving office more than a year before the end of her term looks like she's escaping the heat of the kitchen rather than finishing the job to which Alaska voters elected her. I wish her well, but I'm disappointed in her decision.

Many of the ethics complaints were filed by republicans..especially republicans officeholders so this is not just a Democrat conspiracy.

Oh no, Zookeeper, you don't get away with that. DEFINE "real Republican"!

Sarah Palin is a secretive, unprepared, and apparently deeply Nixonian version of a Republican, with imaginary enemies all over the place. When she was first nominated by John McCain I thought, "Kewl!" The I listened to her. She isn't someone I'd like to see as President.

Go and tell your dittohead friends and that moron Greg Garrison of WIBC that we don't just ACCEPT a nominee, we do research, and we listen, and we watch.

It's funny how Democrats like you Dana see every fault in Palin but see nothing wrong with Joe Biden, who can't go a day without saying something stupid or reckless. If he were a Republican, he would have been driven out of politics by now.

1) Not a Republican and not a Democrat. I have voted (mostly) for Democrats since after Reagan (excepting Perot twice to be stubborn) because Republicans have become the party of We the Sheeple.

When Republicans come back to their senses and stop being the Party of the King James Bible and stop gay-bashing then I'll see about voting for them again.

2) Biden? I don't think much about Joe Biden because I see him as the perfect VP, going to weddings and funerals and not usurping Presidential power like Cheney. So he says stupid things? He isn't shooting people while hunting caged animals.

3) Palin. I have to agree with Andrew Sullivan (mostly on her). And like I said before, Advance Indiana, I was happy when McCain picked her, even called his office to congratulate him. Then I had a chance to actually listen to her. She is an unstable hack.

You can't put me in a box, sir - I am someone who votes my conscience, not a party affiliation. If you can't respect that...
