30th Senate District Caucus Scheduled
The 30th Senate District Republican caucus to fill the vacancy of Teresa Lubbers, who resigned to become Higher Ed Commissioner, has been scheduled for July 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 71st and Keystone. There are currently four candidates vying for the appointment to the remainder of Lubbers' term, including Chris Douglas, John Ruckelshaus, Scott Schneider and Ryan Vaughn.

If the republicans select Ryan Vaughn then they will get what they deserve...he has so many conflicts of interest even serving on the council and would have more in the legislature.
Are this Caucus open to the public?
I suspect it will be limited to candidates and qualified precinct committeepersons, although credentialed media will likely be allowed to cover it. You'll have to ask the state party for a definitive answer.
