As List Of GOP Presidential Candidates Grows, Only One Candidate Benefits

By my count, there are now at least 14 candidates seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2016 or planning to take that step. The list includes:

Jeb Bush
Ben Carson
Chris Christie
Ted Cruz
Carly Fiorini
Lindsey Graham
Mike Huckabee
Bobby Jindal
John Kasich
George Pataki
Rand Paul
Marco Rubio
Rick Santorum
Scott Walker

I believe that most of those Republican candidates in the field are not serious candidates for the office; rather, they are only in the race in the early goings to muck up the field in order to ensure that the CIA/Military-Industrial/Wall Street-backed candidate, Jeb Bush, wins the race by default and to prevent a legitimate alternative candidate like Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul from emerging early in the race in a head-to-head match-up with Bush. Why do I say that? Most of these candidates have deep ties with the Bushies and are/will receive their funding from the very same people who really want to see Bush as the nominee. The oligarchs who run the United States would love nothing more than to see Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush as the two major party candidates in 2016 because that outcome ensures they win and we lose no matter which of those two candidates wins the presidency. Sadly, the 2016 presidential election is essentially over before it even started.

If Jeb Bush turns out to be the candidate the Rovians are pushing down my gullet I swear to God I will stay home.

I should have stayed home when clueless RINO Mitt Romney ran... the only difference between leftist liberal Democrats like Socialist Marxist Barak Obama and RINO Establishment Republicans is that the RINO's will drive the now-gone Republic over the cliff at half the speed of the left of center liberal who now wholly control the Democrat Party.

The only hope for the Republican Party is to nominate the most conservative person out there - someone who makes Cruz sound liberal. When they lose in the general, the nutcase branch of the party will crawl back under their rock for another couple of decades, and we'll have a two party system again.

The Republican Field will also be able to enrich themselves with Campaign Contributions, Lobbyist Money even when they lose. They will have credentials from these contacts if they need to take to the road and give speeches for exorbitant fees or run again for political office or both.

The Mega-Media is doing the best it can to marginalize Senator Bernie Sanders. It always the same line and statement - Sanders cannot win. The Mega-Media never asks what Sanders needs to do to win the Democratic Nomination. The Mega-Media does not discuss in depth Senator Sanders Platform.

The Mega-Media is riding along on the Hillary Clinton Traveling Circus. Hillary features plenty of Smoke of Mirrors. Hillary comes across as the Rightful Queen that failed in her coronation in 2008. Hillary's vote to authorize GWB's War is being swept under the table. Hillary's hand in destroying Libya is also glossed over.

If your headline is correct GW; the candidate beneficiary will be a Democrat faux-gressive.

The people of Indiana have been disenfranchised for years ! States with early primaries determine the candidates other states see on their ballots. You want to take some of the BS (money & media) out of elections run the primaries on one specific date in all states and see who comes out a winner.

A pipe dream just like TERM LIMITS for all politicians including State and Local.

State governments shouldn't even hold primaries, that is, state money shouldn't be used for primaries. The state has no interest in who is nominated by a political party. Give yourself a minute to go WHAAAAT, then think about it.

Gary, don't you think that the more GOP candidates there are, the bigger the opening for a libertarian-minded -- or, Republican in the mold of Rep. Howard Buffett and Sen. Robert A. Taft -- because the other candidates are too much alike, to wit: internationalist in their views? If Rand's the only GOP candidate that's focusing on digital privacy, espousing non-intervention, and at least tamping down on the drug war.

The crowded field notion should have played to Ron Paul's advantage. It did not. You had the specter of televised debates with a large number of candidates trying to speak and debate moderators who seemed to consistently shut out the voice of Paul, who had to fight for his time during the debates. The media gave unusual media attention to Herman Cain in an effort to build him up at the expense of other candidates before destroying him over salacious allegations. We're seeing the same thing already starting to play out with Ben Carson and Carly Fiornina.
