Joe Hogsett Finds A Primary Opponent

The elites who rig our local elections are having a good laugh at our expense. Of course the Indianapolis mayor's race was already decided in the backrooms months ago when the accidental mayor, Greg Ballard, got handed the news he was going to have to hang up his jock strap and make room for Joe Hogsett, the former federal prosecutor who swept every public corruption case which threatened their fiefdom under the rug in exchange for an agreement by the Republicrats to let him walk into the mayor's race with only token opposition where he will continue the policies of Ballard and his UniGov predecessors, which can be summarized as anything designed to funnel as much of our public tax dollars into their pockets as possible under the guise of good government.

As the elites count their money over drinks, they're patting themselves on the back for the job they do in defining their opposition by lining up gadfly candidates to oppose them. Crazy Larry Vaughn filed today to run against Hogsett in the Democratic Party. He's the guy who can make some decent arguments during public testimony at City-County Council meetings from time to time, but who discredits his arguments by donning hats made from grocery bags and painting his face for reverse black face effect so nobody will  take him seriously. Earlier this week, long-time Julia Carson nemesis, perennial candidate and Democrat-turned-Republican Jocelyn-Tandy Adande filed to run in the Republican primary. Republicans have yet to find a serious contender for the office they've held for all but eight years over the past half-century. No wonder Hogsett's campaign manager can't stop laughing.

Don't laugh just yet....remember what happened to The Democrats when Bobby Hildago ran for their congressional nomination!

Bobby Hidalgo was running as Bobby Kern against an unknown party-backed candidate whose last name was Nagarajan. Every Democratic primary voter will have heard of Joe Hogsett. The turnout in this year's municipal primary will be embarrassingly low.
