It's Just The Beginning, Mayor Ballard

It's still fourteen months away from the November 2011 municipal election in Indianapolis, and there is an intervening election to decide which party will control key county offices. Yet Marion County Democrats have already launched their first Internet ad taking aim at the administration of Mayor Greg Ballard, capitalizing on today's Justice Department announcement of the extortion and bribery charges against former City-County Councilor and IMPD Commander Lincoln Plowman. Beating Ballard and regaining control of the City-County Council will be a piece of cake for the Democrats.

It's rare that I see a political ad and don't think 'Jeeze what a load of crap.' But there's no denying this one is right on the money.

Ed did not waste any time. Great job; great ad.

Like I said, it's a piece of cake. Lest we forget Ballard is the first candidate in the nation to ride the Tea Party wave to office. How soon they forget.

From Scott's website's reasons why he will defeat Carson:

"17. Tea Party support is very substantial"

So I take it Marvin has the goal to be the first TEA Party candicate in the nation to get fewer votes than a Libertarian?

Sorry, but I can't help think of him as Marvin the Martian. He's definitely from another planet and he couldn't do a better job of destroying his campaign if he had an Illudium PU-36 Space Modulator pointed at it.

That ad doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the ammunition stockpile the D's have against Ballard.
