Another British Celebrity With Close Ties To Royal Family Convicted Of Pedophilia

Don¿t move, Ma¿am: Harris paints the Queen¿s 80th birthday portrait in 2006
Whistle blowers in the United Kingdom have long claimed that authorities there have been covering up an international pedophilia ring involving some of the world's most powerful an influential figures. Yesterday, a court found Rolf Harris, one of England's most prominent child entertainers, guilty of sexually assaulting 12 young girls years ago. Harris had helped lead a war on child molesters in England and won accolades from the Queen for his work, who awarded him the coveted honor of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Queen Elizabeth II commissioned him to paint her portrait on the occasion of her 80th birthday. Just like another famous Brit, Jimmy Saville, the serial child molester was hiding in plain sight. Harris is one of at least a dozen prominent persons in the British media charged under Operation Yewtree that arose from the investigation of Saville, which arose after a documentary was aired in Britain in October 2012 following his death in 2011 in which claims of years of sexual abuse of children by Saville and others was alleged.
