Calvin Borel Arrested In Evansville For DUI

Calvin Borel
Three-time Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Calvin Borel was arrested by Indiana State Police in Evansville this weekend for driving while intoxicated. Indiana State Police stopped Borel shortly before midnight last night after he allegedly made an unsafe lane change on U.S. 41 in Evansville. A state police statement said Borel's blood alcohol level tested over the legal limit but did not state the amount. Borel had been scheduled to ride in races today at Ellis Park in Henderson, Kentucky, but he was pulled from his rides after last night's arrest. Borel is due in court on Monday after he posted a $100 bond and was released Sunday morning.

Word is, he tried to talk his way out of it, but the trooper had no idea what in the hell Borel was saying.

Word is, Borel went on a rip-roarin' bender and had a whole shot glass of bourbon.
