Drudge Nails It: Why Would Anyone Vote Republican?

Matt Drudge is often disliked by the Right as much has he is the Left. Readers of his website are given the entire perspective on President Barack Obama's decision to launch another Middle Eastern War in Syria, one of our own government's making since the groups waging the civil war against the Syrian government would not exist but for the funding, arming and training they are receiving from our government. To date, the U.S. government has covertly spent over $1 billion dollars on the civil war in Syria, which has claimed more than 100,000 lives and created over 2 million refugees. Drudge can't understand why so many Republicans are so anxious to go along with Obama's new war. "Why would anyone vote Republican," he tweets. "Raised taxes; marching us off to war again; approved more NSA snooping. WHO ARE THEY?" My sentiments exactly. He really hits the nail on the head when he suggests there is now no difference between Democrats and Republicans. Instead, our choice is "Authoritarian v. Libertarian."

20h Why would anyone vote Republican? Please give reason. Raised taxes; marching us off to war again; approved more NSA snooping. WHO ARE THEY?!

It's now Authoritarian vs. Libertarian. Since Democrats vs. Republicans has been obliterated, no real difference between parties...

It's quite obvious to me from their comments that Republican members of Congress from Indiana like Susan Brooks and Luke Messer are totally bought and paid for by the military industrial complex. Neither one of them has any idea what it's like to serve in the military or the sacrifices that our soldiers and their families have made over the past 12 years to fight these totally useless wars in the Middle East, which only serve the dual purposes of propping up oil prices for the puppet regimes run by the CIA and transferring trillions of dollars in wealth to the military industrial complex that now seems to control every branch of the federal government through hook or crook. Even Indiana's most liberal Democratic member of Congress, Andre Carson, is sounding an awful lot like he plans to find an excuse for supporting the President as well.

Secretary of State John Kerry tells members of Congress no boots on the ground will be required. Instead, we're just going to bomb the hell out of the country to give the terrorist rebels the opportunity to topple the government like we did in Libya. Here's what Libya looks like today after we succeeded in getting rid of Gaddafi according to The Independent:
A little under two years ago, Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary, urged British businessmen to begin “packing their suitcases” and to fly to Libya to share in the reconstruction of the country and exploit an anticipated boom in natural resources.
Yet now Libya has almost entirely stopped producing oil as the government loses control of much of the country to militia fighters.
Mutinying security men have taken over oil ports on the Mediterranean and are seeking to sell crude oil on the black market. Ali Zeidan, Libya’s Prime Minister, has threatened to “bomb from the air and the sea” any oil tanker trying to pick up the illicit oil from the oil terminal guards, who are mostly former rebels who overthrew Muammar Gaddafi and have been on strike over low pay and alleged government corruption since July.
As world attention focused on the coup in Egypt and the poison gas attack in Syria over the past two months, Libya has plunged unnoticed into its worst political and economic crisis since the defeat of Gaddafi two years ago. Government authority is disintegrating in all parts of the country putting in doubt claims by American, British and French politicians that Nato’s military action in Libya in 2011 was an outstanding example of a successful foreign military intervention which should be repeated in Syria . . .
And to think that this President won the Nobel Peace Prize even before taking office.

Lew Rockwell calls it "the Republican wing of the War Party."

Perfectly put.

When does the rest of the world realize that the planet would be better off and more peaceful without the United States?

What could we possibly do if the rest of the world joined in a unified action to return us to enjoying the comfortable land between our shores?

If you want to see the disgusting face of the U.S. Military that so desperately needs a comeuppance, look at Cookson's photo at the bottom of this page: http://www.policestateusa.com/2013/military-men-face-moral-dilemma-on-syrian-strike-follow-their-consciences-or-just-follow-orders/

In THE ISRAEL LOBBY AND U.S. FOREIGN POLICY, its authors, Doctors John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt explain how Israel controls our Congress and that of all the European countries, and determines our and their foreign policy. It does not surprise me to read here that the token Muslim, Andre Carson, plans to vote as his sponsors and Zionist-controlled Democratic Party expects.

It is awful to contemplate how our entire U.S. Navy in the Mediterranean can so easily be sunk by the many thousands of Russian cruise missiles, I believe called the Sunburn. Btw, Israel has long had nukes and chemical weapons, which chemicals it has been using against the Arabs, and was the first country in the Middle East to do so. So many members of Congress are demonic.

Wow I wouldnt go that far. America is a good country and Pax Americana has been a boon to world economic and social development.

But, she has lost her way. It is up to the people to bring her back on course. She is being run by elites who want to line their own pockets and show off how smart they are by making the people do what they want, whether they want to or not.

Drudge is right. As extreme as is may sound to a lot of people right now, we need to take government and government official down as many notches as we can, whereever we can.

So for what good it will do, I've emailed my rep and both Senators. I support a "shutdown" of the government. I want NSA spying stopped, even if it increases the risk of an attack in the future. etc etc.

Things go in cycles, and right now we need to be in the cycle of government having its winged clipped wherever possible.

"Pax" means "peace," and we have been at constant war since the 1890's.

Let;s see. Syria may have used a weapon of mass destruction to kill 350 children (too bad the photo offered up to support was taken several years ago , 9 years before the actual attack). So this, use of a WMD, justifies the U.S. sending in bombs which will kill large numbers of people.

The leaders of this country have no morals or sense.
