Voodoo Hex On Bush Taking Its Toll

I caught this little item last week where a renowned black magic practitioner had performed a voodoo ritual to jinx President Bush and his entourage while he was visiting Southeast Asia. As AP reported then:

Ki Gendeng Pamungkas slit the throat of a goat, a small snake and stabbed a black crow in the chest, stirred their blood with spice and broccoli before drank the "potion" and smeared some on his face.

I don't hate Americans, but I don't like Bush," said Pamungkas, who believed the ritual would succeed as, "the devil is with me today."

He said the jinx would send spirits to possess Secret Service personnel guarding Bush and put them in a trance, leading them into falsely thinking the president was under attack, thus eventually causing chaos in Bogor Presidential Palace, where the American leader was scheduled to meet President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Monday.

While the jinx has so far not directly harmed Bush, it seems to be taking a toll on people around him and close to him. When Air Force One landed in Vietnam earlier this week, a couple of tires blew out on the plane. Last night, after the President stopped over in Hawaii on his return trip home, the White House travel director was robbed and beaten outside a Waikiki night club. Today, three police motorcycle escorts were injured when they collided while escorting the presidential motorcade to Hickam Air Force Base, seriously injuring two of the police officers. Meanwhile, first daughter Barbara Bush had her purse stolen during dinner in a restaurant in Buenos Aires, Argentina while being guarded by Secret Service agents. Things weren't going much better for the Secret Service Agents. One of the agents on Barbara's detail was later badly beaten when someone attempted to mug him.

Bush may need to call on the services of a black magic practitioner to reverse the hex. I was going to suggest a certain congresswoman, but I don't want to get "you know who" all worked up again.

Nancy Pelosi and other like-minded congresswomen will soon be breaking the evil thrall cast upon our country by the Bush Witch Doctors like Cheney and Rumsfeld ...

Now that Mean Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio) is back in Congress, I'm sure she might try to drop a house on somebody or unleash some flying monkeys...

This blog has sunk to the depths now. Christ AI, grow up! This is rediculouls. You're acting like a child in elementary school. It's becoming a waste of time to check in here. Before I visit I know I'm sure to find either snide little comments against Julia Carson, or a love-fest for Nazi-Republicans and a hate-fest against anything Democrat. I thought you might have come to your senses after your blow out over the past few months, it appears not to be. Hope you don't have a heart atack one day with all the anger and ugliness in your life.

Ruth Holladay wrote on her blog about a congresswoman: "Throw in messing with voodoo; that was the word on the backstreet."

Incorrect outing, Gary - that anonymous comment wasn't me - I do have an idea who it might be. Your sad descent into visceral hatred of Black Democratic elected officials hasn't gone unnoticed by others ...

P.S. I tend to be meticulous about my spelling - that anonymous wasn't !

Wilson, the time stamp for the log in for that comment is unmistakable. Your last comment removes any doubt: "hatred of Black Democratic officials." Give me a break. Your blinding partisanship is really pathetic, Wilson. Only you would have failed to find the humor intended by this post.

Gary, have I ever posted from an IP address other than my fairly-stable cable IP address? Never!

As blogmeister, you can see what IP addresses are used by commenters - you have noticed Jocelyn posting 3 or more times in a row using different aliases but the identical IP address - you felt it was important to maintain her facade of anonymity and multiplicity.

If you still think that one anonymous comment above was me, you are even more paranoid than I ever imagined you could be.

Give it up Gary. He's shameless.

And don't ever, ever, EVER doubt voodoo's power.

It's bad Karma. (g)
