Syrian Bombing Campaign Takes Out Water Supply For 3.5 Million
Nobody is taking credit for this air strike, but at least one bombing campaign in Syria conducted by the United States, France, Russia or the Syrian government was responsible for taking out a water treatment plant in Aleppo that pulls water from the Euphrates River to supply potable water to approximately 3.5 million Syrians. A representative of UNICEF complained that all sides continue to break the rules of war on a daily basis. Water pumping operations have been partially restored, but more than a million remain without access to water. The Syrian state news agency is blaming the U.S.-led air strikes for the attack on the water plant, while at least one group is blaming the Syrian government. How would Americans feel if several different countries took turns bombing our country on a daily basis in this fashion?
How terrible. Never ending war is now the norm, regardless of whom the American people elect. The United States just cut off water to millions. Is this war for oil?
ReplyDeleteIt's the only way they know how to force construction of the pipeline they want to build through Syria to provide natural gas to the north.
ReplyDeleteDeputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonovof of Russia, “Today, we are presenting only some of the facts that confirm that a whole team of bandits and Turkish elites stealing oil from their neighbors is operating in the region,” Antonov said, adding that this oil “in large quantities” enters the territory of Turkey via “live oil pipelines,” consisting of thousands of oil trucks. Antonov added that Turkey is the main buyer of smuggled oil coming from Iraq and Syria.

“Some countries in the Middle East and North Africa, which used to be stable and relatively prosperous – Iraq, Libya, Syria – have turned into zones of chaos and anarchy that pose a threat to entire world,” Putin said.

“We know why it happened. We know who wanted to oust unwanted regimes, and rudely impose their own rules. They triggered hostilities, destroyed state hoods, set people against each other and simply washed their hands [of the situation] – giving way to radicals, extremists and terrorists.”

Some may discount the source of this information above. Consider the sources we receive here in the USA, various "experts" connected to the Security-Military-Industrial Complex nearly daily on CNN, FOX, and MSNBC urging more war. They may differ in some details as to actions but they are uniformly War Hawks.
Strange how the Flowers of the "Arab Spring" were not permitted to take root in Saudi Arabia or the other Gulf Oil States.
I'm sure the equivalent of the Madeline Albright of the responsible government will be saying the deaths of the innocents from disease are all worth it someday also. And that person will be right: All worth it to the armament manufacturers doing the bombing, the no-bid contractors rebuilding it, and the same bombing company re-bombing the rebuilt stuff in10 years or so, ... .
ReplyDeletePutin says there will be no pipeline, but Nato has had just about enough of his bluster. His Assad dictatorship can drink sand. Hey Welsh. I'm waiting to hear you call San Bernardino a false flag. All those people are actors, right? Nobody dead. Just like the narrative you're pushing for Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon.
ReplyDeleteSadly Gary, that seems to be a sharp prediction. This whole situation is sick. Syrian people have their lives destroyed, psyches traumatized, and injured or killed, displaced, and presumably penniless.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Arabs trust us at this point?
The American people shackled to the debts of these wars while those who call for it profit by the millions. No money for school but trillions for oil.
I wonder if this is truly necessary -to fight so hard for control over this resource. Another part of me thinks that there are simply evil people in the world who would wage war for water if they could. Why are we being lied to? Wasn't Obama supposed to be a dove?
We are under the rule of a Hidden Empire. American democracy is a sham. As long as we spend time chasing after one another we don't see what is plainly the truth.

Anon. 1:11, There are plenty of video bloggers and others analyzing the latest mass shooting. They are coming with such great frequency now that a normal person doesn't have the time or energy to absorb and analyze what's transpiring in these events from day to day.
ReplyDeleteObama a dove? Just as in "If you like your doctor, you can keep him. If you like your health car plan, you can keep it, or "You will save $2,500 per year under Obamacare" nothing we voted for was as he promised. This country has waged more war and killed more innocent people around the globe since Obama was coronated. Trying to figure out why he has a Nobel Peace Prize.
