Hogsett's Second Ad More Of The Same
Joe Hogsett's campaign has released its second ad for his Indianapolis mayoral bid. If you saw the first one, you've already seen this one.
Howdy Doody again aptly represents the past... which is exactly what liberal Democrats seem to always be doing... looking into the rear view mirror. This is a pathetic attempt to draw in the viewer through pulled heartstrings.
Failure, Joe, failure when it comes to this voter who can think and read and who wants to know why you failed Indianapolis voters' public safety by intentionally ignoring the rampant political corruption caused by the very office you seek.
I like the ad and I like the man. I voted for Ballard, who I preferred over Bart Peterson, but he just seemed to sell his soul to the devil after a couple years in office and the man who leaves the mayoral office bears little resemblance to the man I first voted for. Hogsett seems motivated by a willingness to be a public servant and get crime under control. Republican trolls can whine their criticisms of him till they're blue in the face. But they don't have a candidate. This guy before me who calls Hogsett Howdy Doody. Screw him. I've seen a few credible Hogsett victories against crime in the news. Ballard certainly doesn't get any points for his appointments in this area. I don't want to hear Republicans trolling Hogsett with names like failure unless they acknowledge the failures of their own Republican mayor over the last two terms. I'm tired of talk. Hogsett walks the walk. He'll get my vote. Naysayers don't have a candidate anyway.
Let me get this straight. Greg Ballard apparently seemed to Anon 3:23 to be a mayoral candidate who wanted to get crime under control with his "Public safety is Job 1" slogan so Anon 3:23 votes for Ballard. Anon 3:23 is disappointed by Mr. Ballard (and I would argue so too were many, many persons who voted for Ballard).
Along comes Joe Hogsett who "seems" motivated to be public servant (I bet the paycheck and the connections are attractions to the "public service" as well) and "get crime under control" as similarly promised by Greg Ballard... and Anon 3:23 now likes Joe Hogsett... whom you must agree does resemble "Howdy Doody".
Anon 3:23 apparently likes candidates who "seem" to want to do something or "seem" to want to serve. Joe Hogsett was fealress at "punishing" the low hanging fruit but sure as hell ignored the overt, lawless corruption of Greg Ballard and never ever went after the in-your-face poltiical CRIMES in this City. (So much for "crime reduction" by Hogsett.)
These is absolutely no logic in Anon 3:23's commentary. The hate comment was clear and the derision was clear but the reat of it was like mud. Neither Democrat Joe Hogsett nor the Republican Candidate Chuck Brewer will receive my vote. They are the same person; the Republican and Democrat parties aren now indistinguishable.

For those of you that really believe Hogsett walks on water and fights crime, read "Deadline Indianapolis" by Cady. (3:23PM needs a history lesson)
ReplyDeleteAs U. S. Attorney he was an abysmal failure. He did not arrest Brizzi or Ballard. He stayed away. He is not fit to be Mayor.
ReplyDeleteHow is this not ghost employment?
ReplyDeleteGhost employment for who?
ReplyDeleteIt appears that Joe is pretty certain that in November, he will be elected Mayor of Indianapolis.
ReplyDeleteHow did an accident which "badly injured" his dad teach Hogsett "how quickly life can be taken away?"
