Leathers Appears On Smiley Morning Show To Discuss Sexting With Moed

State Rep. Justin Moed's former sexting partner, Sydney Leathers, appeared on WZPL's Smiley Morning Show this morning as he returned to the State House for the first time since this scandal broke last week. Leathers discussed how Rep. Moed paid her $100 a pop or more using a PayPal account to engage in sexting conversations with her before he started buying gifts for her from her wish list on Amazon, which was the point at which she discovered his actual identity when his name appeared on the gifts delivered to her, including a pink dog collar and leash. Leathers claimed during the interview that Moed had told her he was an attorney. Although he's a state lawmaker, Moed is not an attorney. Should we care that a state lawmaker misrepresented himself to her as an attorney? In addition to the young black man named Omar with whom Moed said he engaged in casual, sexual hook-ups and shared nude pictures of, Leathers said Moed had also told her he paid for the services of a local dominatrix in Indianapolis who had him dress up in a French maid outfit and clean her house while she talked down to him. Hmm. I wonder which local dominatrix that was?

I heard that FDR used to have regular sessions with a dominatrix. "You funded the Tennessee Valley Authority that's overstepping your authority you bad boy!" "Teach my buttocks a New Deal!"

  2. Did she get paid $100 per TEXT MESSAGE? Clearly, Gary, we're in the wrong profession...

No matter how the liberal Democrat defenders of this Moed guy frame the issue, he is a complete embarrassment to his party, to his fiancé, to his family, and to his constituency. He is not "out and proud" but instead is outed and shamed because he was caught in deception and outright lies. These things like personal character matter little to liberal Democrats (think Ted Kennedy, Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Gary Hart)... and when caught they do what liberal Democrats do best... try to deflect and try change the subject as in "but what about ____?" (fill in the blank with an opposition party member's name).

We see what Moed is made of and what he is made of is unworthy of public service. He might, however, make a great bathhouse towel boy.

And as for Sydney Leathers... oh God, there isn't enough bleach on the planet to disinfect anything/anyone which she's associated with

  4. It sounds like a pretty good gig, Carlos. Sydney says she can make a six-figure income sitting at home and talking dirty to guys like Moed. It beats prostitution and it's legal.

  5. As WIBC's Tony Katz correctly cites- Moed is doing this crap on OUR dime! If his imagination is lavishly limited to $100 text expenditures; his OPM abuse (other people's money which fills the public treasury, misused to fund a stadium), is no surprise. For treasury looters, this guy is an easy mark.

What is Moed's paying "job"? Does he make enough to pay 100$ per text, escorts, and whatever other crap he's in to? If not, who's paying these bills? We already know Moed is in bed with the monied interests downtown so he's got to be getting his cut somehow.

Can someone out there explain to me how these guys think they are so invisible that they can get away with crap like this? I'm a moderate republican, and while this kind of nonsense isn't for me, I don't really give a damn what this guy does in his personal time as long as it doesn't physically or financially harm someone else. But many many people out there do care and he can't be so stupid as not to realize that, or that his secrets wouldn't one day see the light of day.

  9. I'm not aware of any other job he has currently other than being a state rep. Living in Indy, he has easy access to plenty of lobbyists who are more than happy to help him earn his keep.
