The quick-thinking of Indiana State Trooper David Ploog is credited with saving McKinney's life. Ploog applied a tourniquet to McKinney's leg, which was bleeding profusely when he arrived at the scene before emergency responders were able to get to the scene. Butler recorded a blood alcohol level 0.18, or more than double the legal limit. He faces two felony charges for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and causing serious bodily injury.
Several weeks ago, Mr. Rob Butler called me from his dealership during non-business hours regarding my complaint. It was a curious call that he probably should not have made. His demeanor was strange and I would not have been surprised to have learned that he was inebriated or under the influence of a narcotic. He continued to interrupt me, slurred some of his words, seemed to be very agitated and had a difficult time with his logical understanding of the situation. Did the police test him for drugs?
ReplyDeleteToo bad he will get off with a slap on the wrist since he is wealthy. He maimed someone for life. I hope he gets the s**t sued out of him and loses his business.
