Family Cat Saves Boy From Stray Dog Attack
This video proves that cats are way underrated. A young Bakersfield, California boy was riding his bicycle in the family drive when a neighbor's stray dog surprised him from behind, bit him and attempted to drag him away. Fortunately, the family's brave cat scared the dog off before he was able to inflict even more severe bite wounds than the boy suffered during the attack. According to KGET, the owner's of the stray dog have voluntarily quarantined their dog.
Great post...Wrtv too...
ReplyDeleteNo police report on attack of dog? It's a law to report this...And the hospital is also required to do so...Did it happen...
ReplyDeleteNot judging, just wondering why she didn't pick up the child & carry him to the house.
ReplyDeleteThis video reminded me of an incident a few years ago. I was visiting my Mom and sitting on the porch with her cat when a large dog came running up to us and began barking and growling very aggressively. It lived in the neighborhood and had a habit of chasing after people.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, my cat immediately charged toward it, trapping it in the bushes where she proceeded to claw it repeatedly. My mom heard the yelps and shrieks of the dog and came running outside and asked if a dog had been run over by a car.
That's when the dog came running out of the bushes, it's muzzle bloodied. The dog had been so terrified that it had even lost control of its bowels.
My cat came sauntering out of the bushes with her fur standing out on end, but otherwise acting like nothing happened.
Needless to say, the dog never bothered us again.
I believe the mother wound up getting bit by the dog as well. That part is not shown on the video.
ReplyDeleteI don't like dogs. Many are dangerous, they stink, they slobber and mess everything up, and they cant relieve or conduct themselves properly without extensive and expensive training. They cost a lot of money to feed, and they are loud and obnoxious.
ReplyDeleteCats are way better. And smarter. And safer. And cleaner. And quieter. And cheaper. And nicer.
And that dog should not be quarantined. It should be put down. It was in a hunting mode and sought to drag that kid away to eat. I'm sure the kid was no angel, but I doubt it deserved to be dragged away and eaten, especially when it was just riding a tricycle.
ReplyDeleteThe mother ran around to the front of the car to get the dog and was bitten as well stories tell and video shows. Father grabbed son onto porch... But worse...they should have asked for an intensive procedural gen surgeon for this procedure of stitching rather than an er/surgeon...
