This Is So Presidential
President Barack Obama must believe America's youth are really shallow. His campaign is using this ad showing Obama telephoning from the White House one of his boyfriends, Kal Penn, who is shown sitting on a couch with his "Harold and Kumar" co-star, John Cho, eating junk food while watching cartoons and naturally looking stoned. The purpose of the ad is to encourage America's youth to tune in Thursday night to watch Obama deliver his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. Hopefully, America's youth aren't too stoned to realize the reason that more than half of this year's new college graduates are living in their parent's basements wasting their time away watching TV is because of Obama's failed economic policies.
Hard to believe the Democrats actually aired something so stupid. The message left for the viewer is that Obama's friends are unimpressed with the phone call as they mindlessly remain focused on cartoons. The Republicans couldn't have invented a better ad than this against Obama.
ReplyDeleteIm stunned...Obama and his Muslim brother Andre Carson think that pot is a gateway drug for Heroin. Obama opened a big old can of worms with this one....
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure why Republicans are so scared of drawing on the youth of America. You do know that pulp culture is a fantastic way to reach a generation of people under 30, right? It isn't about being stoned and watching cartoons. It's playing on a hilarious comedy that millions of people paid to watch.
ReplyDeletePopularity is hard to come by. Republicans shouldn't be worried. You have the 82 year old Clint Eastwood, right?
Also, those graduates aren't sitting in those basements because of Obama. You need to look at the economic downturn that 8 years of George Bush caused to solve that one, genius.
