Selective Outrage On Display
Apparently nobody in the Democratic Party or the Omedia believes President Barack Obama should return the $1 million Obama's Super PAC accepted from Bill Maher, who called former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin a cunt, but they believe every sponsor of Rush Limbaugh's radio talk show should abandon him because of his over-the-top comment about Sandra Fluke's faux advocacy of women's reproductive rights. Two outspoken Democratic congresswomen, Rep. Jan Schakowsky and Sheila Jackson Lee, find nothing objectionable in calling Palin a cunt or MSNBC's Ed Schultz calling conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham a slut. Yet they are so offended by Rush Limbaugh's description of Sandra Fluke as a slut for expecting the health insurance coverage at a Jesuit Catholic university to include coverage for her birth control. Incidentally, in case you hadn't yet figured it out on your own, Ms. Fluke isn't an innocent 23-year-old coed strugging to work her way through law school as we were initially told. She's a 30-year-old paid liberal activist for various left-wing causes who may or may not even date men depending on which of her friends at Georgetown you believe. And to think our commander-in-chief has time to call up this woman to thank her "for speaking out about the concerns of American women." Wake up America. You're being played--again!
