Bayh Visits Indy To Vote And Campaign For Kennedy

Former Sen. Evan Bayh lives in a palatial Washington, D.C. home, but he's visiting Indianapolis today so he can cast a vote in this year's Indianapolis mayoral election and spend the day campaigning for Melina Kennedy. Bayh's act of casting votes in Indianapolis is illegal because he does not reside here. Secretary of State Charlie White is facing felony charges and a continued contest of his election to that office by Indiana Democrats despite the fact that he has cast every vote in Hamilton County where he has resided his entire adult life. Such is the way it is in Indiana. Bayh is the golden boy of the insider elites who can do no wrong, whether it was trading his seat in the Senate to parlay millions of dollars for him and his wife from the corporate interests he served, or casting votes in a state in which he does not reside. Charlie White, we're told, must resign his seat and go directly to jail. Life really isn't fair as if you ever doubted that.

  1. I am voting for Kennedy and believe she will win and serve as a strong good mayor. However, for the life of me, I cannot understand why she would want to travel around the city with the spineless, sell out, unprinciples Evan Bayh. Someone should have advised her. Perhaps this is a ploy to get the Republican vote as Bayh is a 100% uppity republican.
