Trump: Ron Paul Can't Win, But I Can
The megalomaniac Donald Trump made a surprise appearance at the CPAC conference in D.C. this afternoon to do what he does best--self-promotion. "If I run and if I win, this country will be respected again," Trump told the faithful conservatives gathered for the event after telling them Ron Paul can't win the presidency. Gov. Mitch Daniels is scheduled to give the keynote address tomorrow night. Daniels speech will be broadcast live on C-SPAN beginning at 9:00 p.m. Incidentally, it appears more and more likely that Daniels will run for president and if he does, expect him to resign as governor so he can campaign full-time and put on his "I'm Joe six-pack" persona like his first run for governor.
Trump can be the VP for Daniels.
ReplyDeleteIf the teachers don't dull the "Blade" trumps bankruptcy life style will!!!!!
A marriage made in Indiana when Daniels let Trump leave French Lick with his famous comments in the little town. " I thought it over and I told Donald your fired" A little humor at his press conference when he gave his friends a self written 40 year contract they defaulted on and still keep doing business for Indiana. Did Trump pay his back taxes he owed Indiana before he left????
The two would make a great duo in Washington.
GO Grand Ole Party!!!!!!
Is CPAC still considered to be a "voice of conservatism"?
ReplyDeleteDid anyone pay attention to the crowd energy when Trump denounced the chance of Ron Paul? I have never heard anything quite like that audience sound before. Have you?
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, the current crop of 25 year olds I've met in the last year are amazing and well networked.
They are smarter than we were at 25, they have a strong ethic based in accountability, they are not materialistic, they are hell bent on changing the world, and they understand the Fed, the military industrial complex, Big Pharma, Corporatism, and all it is.

Read somewhere about a warning of a descent into demagoguery. A Trump candidacy might seem to be an indicator of such.
ReplyDeleteFunny, of the two, only Ron Paul has been publicly hired, or elected, thereby beating Trump to the punch.
