Go Get Em, Leon
Mayor Greg Ballard proves why not all men should wear shorts. Loyal Advance Indiana reader, Leon Dixon, is shown at left guarding Ballard's rather large backside for the second annual Peace In The Sreets Bowl that promotes a positive dialogue between Indianapolis' youth and police officers. "We want the kids to understand there's a right way and a wrong way of going about business," Ballard said. "Most of them do understand that, obviously." Okay, he must have lost the note card Robert Vane handed him before yesterday's game on what to say to the media. The back of the blue shirt read Ballard wore yesterday read, "The Man." Yeah. That was my same reaction.
The shirt and pants colors are reversed but he's definitely got a Bart Simpson look going on.
ReplyDeleteLeon is a sweetheart.

ReplyDeleteThat's right kids. Using a gun to jack somebody and take their cash or other stuff and give it to other people or entities is a crime ... you have to get elected to do that legally.
Hopefully the next administration will take this image to heart...if you're given a free membership to a swanky country club, make sure it includes pool privileges.
