Arrogant and Out Of Touch, Lugar Plans To Run For Seventh Term

Thirty-six years in the U.S. Senate is not enough for Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN), who apparently believes the seat he has held since 1977 is his for life. Lugar, who will be 80 in 2012, announced today he will soon announce plans to seek an unprecedented seventh term. Lugar has demonstrated repeatedly he could give a damn less what average Hoosiers think about any host of issues. He refuses to meet with every day Hoosiers to discuss any issues before Congress. Instead, he spends most of the time when Congress is not in session touring the world, pretending that he knows more about what's best for US foreign policy than anybody else. He traveled abroad with Barack Hussein Obama soon after he was elected to the Senate, going out of his way to boost his foreign policy credentials and for all practical purposes endorsed him for president in 2008, the most unqualified person ever to be elected president. People need to understand that Lugar is a part of a movement to ditch American sovereignty in favor of the New World Order. He answers to people other than Hoosier voters and can no longer be trusted to represent us in Washington. Republicans and conservatives in Indiana need to let it be known that his candidacy for re-election will not be welcomed and he will be challenged in the primary. We can't afford six more years of his out-of-touch arrogance.

Very good, Gary. Did you notice that the NWO types and the Bilderbergers became even more greatly empowered following 911? This has been a good decade for them.

It's almost, as if sheer accident, their enemies gave them the greatest possible gift. Do you believe in sheer accidents, Gary? Do you believe that the people who own the world just happen to luck into expansions of their power?

Make it a grassroots Republican initiative to end the Federal Reserve, and see if Lugar backs it.

  2. Yeah, it was a grand master plan to plunder the American people and transfer our wealth to people controlling the New World Order.

  3. He's so out of touch he's been overwhelmingly elected 6 times! Man, now THAT's out of touch!

  4. Well, given the Democrats intentionally threw the last 3 elections, it comes as no surprise.

  5. So do you now have suspicions that Muslims had nothing to do with 911?

  6. But Republicans also nominated him six times. There can be a primary, but I promise you Republican voters will choose Lugar again. And Hoosier voters-at-large will elect him to a seventh term.

Lugar is too conservative for my taste, but he's willing to listen and willing to compromise, which makes him better than any other Republican and most Democrats who want the seat.

  7. I've never had any doubts about who carried out the attacks on 9/11. What has always bothered me is how so many at the highest levels of our government ignored the warnings from people like John O'Neill, who warned of a plot to carry out a major attack on U.S. soil. The same thing happened in the OKC bombing. Some within the FBI knew in advance of the plans to blow up a federal building and just let it play out.

  8. "Ignored?"

    Dude.

They sent the U.S. fighter wing to Canada, and Cheney was running a defense exercise on the morning of 9/11 in which they were practicing a scenario where the Pentagon was struck by a hijacked passenger jet.

When that coincidence actually occurred, people didn't know if the transmissions were coming from Cheney's drill exercise or the real thing.

  9. He's been less of a an advocate for reduced federal spending than the departing Senator Bayh(D). He's continued support for the inexperienced and ideologically extreme in voting for Justice Kagan's confirmation.

There were people protesting the cost, expansion, and intrusion of goverment during the Bush years, and thousands more in the streets and town halls since the election of President Obama. With due respect to his pursuit of dismantling nuclear arms, I think Senator Lugar is out of touch.

Amen to Amen to all that.

  11. Lugar is a respected member of the Senate. He is a bit conservative for me but he is not a part of the crazy radical right right that has kidnapped the GOP. He will be reelected by a huge margin.

  12. It is interesting that the only people who commented here praising Lugar,R., are two men who refuse to identiry themselves, who are operatives for the Democrats.
