Obama Plays The Victim Card Again

As about 30 Democratic attorneys descended on Alaska to dig for dirt on the rising star Sarah Palin, who polls suggest is now more popular than The One, guess who's playing the victim card again? Speaking in Pennsylvania yesterday, Obama had this whine:

"When they say, 'This isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities,' what they’re really saying is, 'We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections or we’re going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic.'"

Barry doth protest too much. Here's the McCain campaign's response to Barry's victimhood claim:

"Barack Obama said he was different. He promised a new politics of hope and change. Is this what that politics looks like? "This week, Gov. [Sarah] Palin said there are two kinds of candidates: those who use change to promote their careers, and those who use their careers to promote change. With each new cynical attack, it’s increasingly clear which kind Sen. Obama really is."

So, since Palin is more popular than Obama, would that make her "The One" and the "Celebrity" now?

  2. No. Barack Obama is self-centered and vacuous, just like a typical "celebrity."

Sarah Palin is an accomplished woman and public servant, who has actually done wonderful things for the citizens of her state while taking great risks to her own political future.

They are the complete opposite of each other.

Only Barack can be "The One". vbseg

  3. I got news for Camp Obama and his attorneys...

    Barack IS scary.

Back in February, I was pretty certain I would vote for The One. I didn't want more years of Bush, thought of McCain as a RINO, and decided that it might do the world some good for its leader to have the same skin color as most people on the planet.

That is until Obama endorsed Andre Carson. Knowing what I did about Carson, I started to question Obama's ethic and motive. Once I did, I saw Obama's questionable relationships, lack of accomplishments, excessive me-first ego, and drive to get to the white house (by hook or crook) for what it was.

For the record, I wasn't going to vote for McCain either...until now.

Gary Welsh did me a great service by blogging about Obama from the beginning. So Gary, you got one person at least to turn from Obama via your blog. And I betcha, I can talk a few out of it myself.

Ok. Should we factor in that only Palin was employed as a reporter on TV - a sport's anchor. Seems that only Palin has experience at being a "Celebrity." You obviously have no idea what Obama has done if you think somehow Palin is far above him in helping citizens - regardless of what state they live in.

Josh, I've repeatedly asked you to explain why Obama is more qualified. You can't identify any experience he brings to the job which will make him a good president. You can't even tell me what he has done to bring about that change he is always talking about. Tell me one time when he took on members of his own party. Tell me one time when he took on the corrupt Chicago political machine. Tell me one time he fought the system.

Nobody does. You can't tie his name to one notable piece of legislature in Illinios or the US Senate. If Obama had accomplishments on the order of Palin, there would have 72 front page stories in the NYT and WaPo about them by now, and they'd be churned and recycled repeatedly. He's run so far on being a dynamic personality with connections. It will blow up in his face between now and November.
