Will Ellsworth Keep His Pledge?
U.S. Rep. Brad Ellsworth (D-IN) pledged to cast his superdelegate vote based upon the wishes of the people in his 8th District. Sen. Hillary Clinton won big in the 8th District yesterday, carrying every single county in the district. Although the vote was close in Vanderburgh County, 20,325 votes for Clinton compared to 19,031 for Obama, Clinton smashed Obama elsewhere. Will Ellsworth keep his pledge and announce his support for Clinton today?
I hope he does. Even though I'm an Obama supporter, I think it's fine if Ellsworth supports Clinton based on his pledge.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter any longer...the nominee has been chosen...he can keep his committment and it wont make a difference.
