No Franklin For Lawrence

Lawrence Mayor-elect Paul Ricketts (R) put to rest rumors that he might name Sherron Franklin as the city's new police chief today. According to a press release Ricketts released himself today, retired Indianapolis police Captain Paul Whitehead will become the city's new police chief. In making this appointment, Ricketts noted, “Paul Whitehead has the experience, integrity, and enthusiasm to make Lawrence safer. I look forward to working with Chief Whitehead in implementing my comprehensive crime plan.”

Well we have known this in Lawrence for weeks as I mention a couple of times. Lord help us here. Whitehead is a real (sic) winner.

I'll bet Steve Davis has a "new found love" for Rickeyys now.
Davis was supposed to be a "shoe-in" for that job.

Maybe the voters of the 7th will wise up and not elect another Carson as well.

Davis like Franklin was played by the "R"s. Their time is over. They will not be back. Ricketts will move in all his boys and girls, Sons-in-laws, daughters, aunts, uncles...the whole bunch. What fun.

Why do I always have a hard time finding the "City" of Lawrence?
Maybe it was different 35 years ago but you can't tell where Lawrence starts or ends. It's just mixed in with Indianapolis with no identity other than the Fort.

I'll know the apocolypse is upon us, when relative-loving Ricketts appoints that little worm Kyle Walker to an important position.

  8. We may be somewhat saved. Rumor has it that Kyle "always on the tit" Walker will be working for Ballard. Hope so.

now if IMPD can just find a way to fire Sherron Franklin and be rid of that lying, double crossing, poorly educated, gum popping excuse for a police office.. the city of Indianapolis will be better off. If rumors can be believed then maybe there is jail time in her future.
