Daniels: Peterson Misled Voters On Reassessment Order

By now you've heard that campaign commercial of Mayor Bart Peterson's (D) where he brags about how Gov. Daniels' decision to order a reassessment of property in Marion County happened because he "banded together" with us to force the Governor to do it. Abdul Hakim-Shabazz reports that Daniels disputes Peterson's account. Shabazz writes, "Daniels politely said he didn't recall the Mayor ever contacting him and said sometimes campaign commercials can 'color outside the lines.'" He continues, "He says he spoke to the Mayor about the ad, and Peterson admitted that upon reflection the ad probably 'overstated the case.'" Guilty as charged?

  3. Exactly the same thing.

See? Some people that post here don't have a problem admitting something their party does was wrong.

It's nice to see Wilson finally confirm what I've thought all along: Peterson is as detached from his public as Gee-Dubyah! Both of these leaders thought their followers were mindless lemmings, but they were proved wrong. Weren't they, Wilson? Yeah!

    Bart & Bush suck!

Bart had zero to do with reassessment orders. The only reason the politicians have responded is due to the lawsuit-they have tried to stay one step ahead.
