Dog Bites Governor Daniels

Jim Shella reports that Gov. Mitch Daniels was less than well-received by a dog in Bloomington last night while he was riding his motorcyle. The dog took a bite out of Daniels' leg. Shella writes at his blog:

A dog bit Mitch Daniels last night near Bloomington.

The governor was on his motorcycle and received a minor leg wound when he apparently surprised the unidentified dog. Press Secretary Jane Jankowski says that Daniels is fine and adds that the dog is fine, too.

At this point I will avoid the temptation to crack wise about the dog's party affiliation or any possible resemblance to members of the General Assembly.

Was it a Pit Bull? What will Bart say about this since Pit Bulls are the only dogs that bite!!

Hey Mitch, glad you're ok, I know that a dog can easily upset a motorcycle in motion. You're lucky.
(I didn't vote for you but do respect you)
