Worse, when another business competes against the government-chosen business, the weight of the government is deployed against the competitor.<br /><br />Why should a taxpayer make lifetime payments to a government employee so the government employee can have a better retirement than the taxpayer?<br /><br />Government has gone widely afield of its permitted mission, and so much of it does not deserve public support or obedience.
