How can you expect them to receive back up and support from fellow corrupt politicians?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12703782.post-37375400463410056012015-12-12T11:22:37.748-05:002015-12-12T11:22:37.748-05:00This is why people are in full tilt rebellion (IMH...
This is why people are in full tilt rebellion (IMHO) against the permanent political class and the parasitic bureaucrats often known as "rent a civic leader". These crony deals and special interest favors are unavailable to all and impossible for one to receive without power, position, privilege, and inside influence. Wouldn't it be wonderful for all of us to acquire something valuable for nothing and then reap huge financial rewards when we sell?

This bilking scheme you describe is just disgusting, I say. Everyone involved must be shackled and sent to a long and harsh prison term when sentenced. Whether it is parking meter for sale to Xerox/ACS, lunatic bicycle lanes which clog traffic and which ruined Broad Ripple Avenue, Vision Fleet, and Blue Indy (to name only a few scams perpetrated upon the overtaxed backs of a hollowed out Marion County), and now Hollywood Indy. Jeez... and right you are, few if any of these criminals will serve even one day in jail. I not longer vote. The few politicians who are pretty much honest are ineffective and lack strong leadership skills and the majority of the remainder aren't worth a half-penny.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12703782.post-58578482478525314722015-12-12T10:42:51.159-05:002015-12-12T10:42:51.159-05:00ASC isn't running their nursing homes very eff...ASC isn't running their nursing homes very efficiently either. My father, recently deceased this past June, spent some time in an ASC memory care unit to give my mother some "respite" from the grueling routine of caring for an Alzheimer's patient at home. Medicare will not pay for nursing homes for Alzheimers patients, and most don't have private long term coverage sufficient to cover it, so unless you are a Medicaid patient, meaning poor, care must be provided at home. Medicare does cover some weeks of respite care, however, which they will pre-approve. We availed ourselves of this, but 6 months after his death, ASC still has their collection agency calling my 80 year old mother, even though they have been paid by Medicare; ASC just can't get their billing right, despite time consuming efforts of the family to clear things up. It speaks volumes about the company. We knew little about their operation before the respite; it was set up by hospice and pre-approved and Harbor Light hospice handled the billing; but its been a terrible burden on my elderly mother, who never paid a bill late in her life, but is now afraid of losing the house over a bill that has been paid, but has fallen into some abyss of incompetence. I agree with those who believe the entire operation needs to be investigated, and those at the top ought to go to jail.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
