RIP Michael Jackson

The pride of Gary, Indiana, Michael Jackson, is dead at age 50. We grew up admiring the talented musician. Our image of him changed dramatically through the years like his appearance, but our respect for his musical and entertainment abilities never waned. Music producer Quincy Jones says the right words: "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

I promise you the world will not end with Jackson's passing.
If you want to mourn something, try mourning the fact that the democrats are now ramming through both a "global warming" bill and a "cap and trade" bill.
Those bills are going to BANKRUPT this country.
The emotional people who are spending all night crying about Michael Jackson will soon be crying that THEIR government won't help them pay their light bill, gas bill, mortgage payment, medical bills, etc.

Ever the opportunist, Gary Indiana's mayor is already out there saying Michael Jackson should be buried in Gary, making Gary a tourist destination like Graceland.

Gary's mayor needs to realize that there is a reason why the Jacksons left Gary. It's a hell hole, made in part, by the corrupt democratic machine politics that controls things up there.
