I don't think Dreyer can prevent it. Any news organization should be able to gain access to these documents through a public records request. In fact, I'm surprised nobody from the news media has requested documents. The Star is probably not interested in uncovering all of the corruption behind the privatization contract because it will destroy Daniels' potential presidential bid.Gary R. After I discovered the close connection between Burdick and Governor Daniels, I realized why I was beating my head against a brick wall with the governor. His political connections were apparently more important to him than the fact that millions of tax dollars were being spent illegally on a no-bid roofing scheme. That talk about reining in exorbitant school construction spending was just a bunch of hot air. It was used as part of his campaign speech. The conflicts-of-interest in this administration are blaring!!Diana Vicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02737045593571194790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12703782.post-53915945246087805332011-03-23T05:42:31.514-05:002011-03-23T05:42:31.514-05:00I can't believe the governor thinks there are ...I can't believe the governor thinks there are two sets of rules, one for himself and another set for the rest of us.Diana Vicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02737045593571194790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12703782.post-2224437005638934792011-03-22T21:37:27.741-05:002011-03-22T21:37:27.741-05:00How in the world does that information fall under ...How in the world does that information fall under privilege?

The trial judge has total control over an interlocautory appeal.
