Blogger Panel Tonight

I have been asked to announce that the Indianapolis Northside Tea Party is sponsoring a blogger panel tonight at the Knights of Columbus, near the northwest corner of 71st and Keystone. I will be joined on the panel by Pat Andrews of "Had Enough Indy" and  Paul Ogden of "Ogden on Politics." We will be talking about local politics and other issues of interest to the sponsoring group's members. We also will be talking about blogging and the future of media. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. You are invited to attend.

Gary, Thank you for serving our community. I hope to attend tonight. We live in interesting times when the Republican Indianapolis City Council members are more liberal and corrupt than the Democratic members.

Anon 1:53 I agree with you in your gratitude to Gary Welsh and in your sentiments expressed about the "interesting times".

For our Republican Council members to be more liberal and corrupt than the crew of liberal and thoroughly corrupt Democrats I know of on our Indianapolis Council... that is really saying a lot.

Don't know if I can make it tonight but I am going to try... we need a change in Marion County and the Democrats sure ain't it.

This is the very thing Youtube was meant for.

Solicit questions early in the day, and answer a smattering at the meeting.

And no lie, I'm a little scared to attend such a roundtable. Who knows who will be in the room taking cell phone shots and recording names?

In Indiana, it's prudent to conduct distributed conversations.

I concur with the statement, "Thank you for serving our community".

I agree with others tonight: A march on Indy...A class action suit...Bring it on in full force. What is everyone doing sitting on their arces waiting and watching...Do something.

Any attorney who brings an action against Power can expect to be Ogdened.

If you want to live in a place with honest public-first government, move to another state, bearing in mind that many of the other states are just as bad.

I definitely would have attended had I known about the meeting. What happened?

Mr. Welsh, do you all meet and discuss issues in this manner regularly? I would gladly attend given more notice, if nothing more than to shake your hand and thank you for the service you provide our community. And thank you for being brave enough to discuss these issues publicly. As 6:06 said we never know who's watching.
