Mayoral hopeful Rahm Emanuel has connections in outer space — and plans to prove it to voters. How cute. Use photos taken from the International Space Station of Chicago to tie yourself to U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, one of the victims of the crazed Tuscon shooter, and take credit for her involvement in politics. A commenter on the item asks, "Will the astronauts help the other candidates too- or is federal money being spent to only supply one candidate with pictures exclusively for his political campaign?" The commenter then provides this link to a website that pretty much sums up Rahm Emanuel. It's entitled Fuckrahm.com.
†Translation: Watch for Emanuel to shake hands in 50 wards within the next 50 hours — and hand out photos of Chicago from outer space.
†To wit: The pics were sent to Rahm from astronaut Mark Kelly, who is married to assassination survivor Arizona U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
†Back check: The pics were taken last week from the orbiting International Space Station, where Kelly’s brother Scott — who is also an astronaut — is assigned for another month.
†Check up: “Rahm, who is a close friend of Giffords and recruited her to run for Congress, has been checking with Mark frequently about his wife’s recovery,” said Rahm spokesman Ben LaBolt. “And Scott sent the photos to Mark to pass onto Rahm.”

NASA Helping Rahm's Chicago Mayoral Race
It's nice to know that NASA under the Obama administration has been officially politicized to help out Barry's Chicago friends. The Sun-Times Michael Sneed has this item on the unlikely help Rahm's campaign for Chicago mayor received from outer space:
Jealous, are we?
ReplyDeleteAs if political candidates never made use of their connections before!
I still don't know why you care who's elected mayor of Chicago.
Given the powerful hold that corrupt city has on our country, I don't know how any concerned American could not care who is running that city.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me a federally-funded agency ought not be involving itself by taking sides in politics.
