World Net Daily's Aaron Klein reports that a Palestinian terrorist leader believes that Israel's military strikes against Hezbollah failed because its army is full of gay soldiers. Abu Oudai said, "If we do [what Hezbollah accomplished], this Israeli army full of gay soldiers and full of corruption and with old-fashioned war methods can be defeated also in Palestine."
Rev. Fred Phelps of the Westboro Church in Topeka, Kansas has protested at military funerals throughout the U.S., claiming that American soldiers are being killed because America tolerates homosexuality. In fact, the federal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law bars openly gay soldiers from serving in the military, which is hardly representative of tolerance. Since President Clinton signed it into law back in 1993, more than 11,000 gay soldiers have been kicked out of the U.S. military. The Israeli army, by contrast, allows gays to serve alongside other soldiers. Many military observers consider Israel's army to be one of the best in the world.

Phelps is a pathetic old fart, AI. I thought he'd reached his zenith with the funeral protests. This takes the cake. Thanks for keeping us updated on hin antics.
What Fred Phelps and his family really are, are sue-happy lawyers that use SLAPP suits and such to claim 1st Amendment rights. I am neutral as far as his message goes, but his chosen method of delivery sucks rocks.
The "church" is as far as I'm concerned their chosen method of a tax dodge.
[I do ride my motorcycle in honor of the soldiers, and shield the family from these types of people]
